Descrizione
Il palazzo di campagna di origine cinquecentesca, si affaccia sulla via principale del paese ed è stato testimone di un vivace viavai di passanti. Proprio questa strada ha rappresentato in passato il Cardo della Centuriazione Romana. Villa Rana si presenta come un elegante edificio con loggia a tre arcate. Nel corso dell’Ottocento il palazzo è stato arricchito da decorazioni pittoriche e stucchi e al pian terreno presenta un bel salone dipinto con ritratti. I restauri più recenti hanno riportato alla luce elementi decorativi più antichi.
La visita guidata permetterà di scoprire la storia della villa e del territorio in cui è inserita.

The country house, dating back to the sixteenth century, overlooks the main street of the village and has witnessed a lively flow of passersby. This very street once represented the Cardo of the Roman Centuriation. Villa Rana appears as an elegant building with a loggia of three arches. During the nineteenth century, the palace was enriched with painted decorations and stuccos, and on the ground floor, there is a beautiful hall painted with portraits. Recent restorations have uncovered older decorative elements.
The guided tour will allow you to discover the history of the villa and the surrounding territory.

Das im 16. Jahrhundert gegründete Landhaus blickt auf die Hauptstraße des Dorfes und war Zeuge eines lebhaften Kommens und Gehens von Passanten. Gerade diese Straße stellte in der Vergangenheit den Cardo der römischen Centuriation dar. Villa Rana präsentiert sich als elegantes Gebäude mit einer Loggia mit drei Bögen. Im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde das Palais mit Malereien und Stuckarbeiten bereichert, und im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein schöner, mit Porträts bemalter Salon. Die jüngsten Restaurierungen haben ältere dekorative Elemente ans Licht gebracht.
Die geführte Tour bietet die Möglichkeit, die Geschichte der Villa und des Gebiets, in dem sie sich befindet, zu entdecken.
