La chiesa parrocchiale di Pieve di Livinallongo è dedicata a S. Giacomo Maggiore, la cui festa ricorre il 25 luglio. I primi cenni documentati risalgono all'anno 1140 e il 19 agosto un bombardamento la distrusse quasi completamente. Fu ricostruita nel dopoguerra cercando di rispettare il più possibile il modello precedente. La chiesa di Pieve di Livinallongo ha origini assai antiche e custodisce alcune reliquie significative: sull'altare dedicato alla madonna del Rosario, a sinistra della navata, trova collocazione un'urna reliquiaria con le spoglie di San Felice, donate all'allora decano di Livinallongo direttamente da Papa Gregorio XVI nel 1843. Un altro reliquiario contiene un piccolissimo resto della Santa Croce autenticato a Roma nel 1838. Di notevole interesse anche le statue poste sulle paraste della navata ben evidenziate da pregevoli elementi architettonici.
The parochial church of Pieve di Livinallongo is dedicated to saint James Superior, whose celebration is on 25th july. The first documented sighes date back in 1140 and on 19th august a bombardment destroyed almost completely the church and It was rebult after the war. The church of Pieve di Livinallongo has very ancient origins and guards some important remains: on the altar dedicated to the Virgin Mary of rosary, on the left of the nave, there is a reliquary urn with the remains of saint Felix, offered to the ancient dean of Livinallongo directly from Pope Gregory XVI in 1843. Another reliquary contains a minimal relics of the Saint Cross authenticated in Rome in 1838. Very interesting also the statues place in the church, highlighted by excellent architectural elements.
Die Pfarrrkirche in La Plié da Fodom Buchenstein/Pieve ist dem Hl Jakobus d. Ä. geweiht.Der früheste Hinweis auf eine Pfarrei in Buchenstein stammt aus dem Jahr 1140. Ein Pfarrer von Buchenstein, Purchhart ist erstmals 1237 genannt. Der nach dem ersten Weltkrieg zerstörte und grundlegend erneuerte Turm wurde letztmals im Jahr 2000 renoviert. Im Innenraum besitzt die Kirche ein zierliches Rippengewölbe. Die drei neugotischen Altäre wurden 1931 geweiht. Erwähnenswert ist der Hochaltar , eine gemalte Darstellung des Hl. Jakobus , sowie die seitlichen Apostelstatuen, links Judas Thaddäus und rechts Simon Zelotes.
