La chiesa di Arabba dedicata ai santi apostoli Pietro e Paolo, fu consacrata l’11 settembre 1664. Si trova nel centro del paese e costituisce un raro esempio di edificio passato indenne attraverso la Prima Guerra mondiale che distrusse gran parte del territorio di Livinallongo del Col di Lana. Si sono così preservate le opere d'arte presenti all'interno come l’altare maggiore dedicato ai santi Pietro e Paolo, i due altari laterali dedicati a S.Giuseppe e alla Madonna del Monte Carmelo, importanti pitture murali realizzate agli inizi del 1900 da J.M. Pescoller. L'edificio in stile tardo gotico ha un portale con telaio in pietra posto sotto una pensilina sorretta da colonne di legno, a lato il campanile sul quale spiccano i quadranti dell'orologio, delle trifore con arco a tutto sesto su tre facciate e una bifora sulla facciata a sud. Attorno alla chiesa si conserva ancora il cimitero. La chiesa di Arabba è menzionata già nei primi decenni del 1300, ma allora era posta più a ovest e più in alto rispetto all'attuale e sembra possa essere stato il primo edificio di culto della valle. Successivamente è stata spostata e ricostruita nella posizione attuale; nel 1681 venne aggiunta al corpo principale una cappella laterale.
The church of Arabba dedicated to the saints Peter and Paul, was consacreted on 11th september 1664. It is situated in the centre of the town and it constitutes a rare exemple of building passed unscathed during the World War I, which destroyed most of territory of Livinallongo. The artwork inside of the church have been preserved as the superior altar dedicated to the saints Peter and Paul, the two lateral altars dedicated to saint Joseph and the Virgin Mary of Monte Carmelo, important mural pictures achieved by J.M. Pescoller at the beginning of 1900. The building in late gothic style has a stonegate and a bell tower with a clock.
The church of Arabba is already mentioned in the first decades of 1300, but at that time it was posted further west and it seems to have been the first worship building in the valley. At a later time the church has been moved and rebuilt in the current position; in 1681 a later chapel was added to the main building.
Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul in Arabba. Die erstmals erwähnte Kiche befand sich etwa 400 m westlich des jetzigen Gebäudes. Siedlungsgeschichtliche Indizien sowie die lokale Buchensteiner Überlieferung sprechen dafür, dass es sich dabei um die erste, noch frühmitteralterliche Kirche des Tales gehandelt haben könnte. Erst im Hochmittelalter wäre demnach der Pfarrsitz an einen zentraleren Ort verlegt worden, der dann auch den Namen Pieve/ La Plié erhielt. Mit dem Bau der neuen Kirche wurde 1660 begonnen; am 11. September 1664 fand die Weihe statt. Die Wandmalereien im Inneren der Kirche stammen vom Künstler J.M. Pescoller, erwähnenswert ist auch der Hochaltar mit der Sarkophagmensa , dem Säulentabernakel un seitlich die Nischen mit den Statuetten des Hl. Petrus und Paulus. In der Laibung des Kapellenbogens befindet sich eine Marmortafel zur Erinnerung an die Besuche von Kardinal Merry del Val (1924-26, 1929) mit Portrait-Tondo aus Bronze. Der Kreuzweg wurde unter Kurat Pietro Mersa (1871-75) erworben.
