Sabato 24 gennaio alle ore 18.00, presso la libreria Tralerighe, si terrà la presentazione del libro "Il viaggio di Slavc" di Paola Peresin.
Nelle Alpi orientali, un lupo solitario percorre sentieri abbandonati da intere popolazioni due secoli fa. La sua storia diventa il simbolo di un fenomeno più ampio: il ritorno di una specie selvatica in territori che l’avevano dimenticata.
Ma Slavc non si muove solo tra boschi e pascoli alpini: attraversa anche un paesaggio culturale fragile e complesso, dove ogni sua impronta riaccende antiche controversie e paure mai del tutto sopite.

On Saturday, 24 January at 6:00 p.m., the Tralerighe Bookshop will host the presentation of the book "The Journey of Slavc" by Paola Peresin.
In the Eastern Alps, a solitary wolf walks along paths abandoned by entire populations two centuries ago. His story becomes the symbol of a broader phenomenon: the return of a wild species to territories that had forgotten it.
But Slavc does not move only through alpine forests and pastures: he also crosses a fragile and complex cultural landscape, where each of his footprints rekindles ancient controversies and fears that have never fully faded.

Am Samstag, den 24. Januar, um 18.00 Uhr findet in der Buchhandlung Tralerighe die Präsentation des Buches "Die Reise von Slavc" von Paola Peresin statt.
In den Ostalpen wandert ein einzelner Wolf auf Wegen, die ganze Bevölkerungen vor zwei Jahrhunderten verlassen hatten. Seine Geschichte wird zum Symbol eines umfassenderen Phänomens: der Rückkehr einer Wildtierart in Gebiete, die sie vergessen hatten.
Doch Slavc bewegt sich nicht nur durch alpine Wälder und Weiden, sondern durchquert auch eine fragile und komplexe Kulturlandschaft, in der jede seiner Spuren alte Kontroversen und nie ganz überwundene Ängste neu entfacht.
