Domenica 10 maggio 2026, alle ore 15:00, la Sala dei Battuti di Conegliano ospita l'incontro "Potere e limiti del linguaggio", un approfondimento interdisciplinare dedicato alla ricerca di una comunicazione costruttiva ed efficace. L'evento analizza la parola come strumento capace di generare realtà, ma anche i confini etici e strutturali che ne definiscono l'azione. L'iniziativa cade in concomitanza con la Giornata mondiale delle comunicazioni, offrendo un'occasione preziosa per riflettere sul messaggio di papa Leone XVI, "Custodire voci e volti umani", in un panorama mediatico sempre più complesso.
Il dibattito mette a confronto la prospettiva teologica con quella del giornalismo contemporaneo, indagando come il linguaggio possa essere orientato al bene comune e alla dignità della persona. Attraverso il dialogo tra gli esperti, l'incontro mira a fornire strumenti per una comunicazione che non si limiti alla trasmissione di dati, ma che sappia farsi spazio di relazione autentica, superando le chiusure e le distorsioni che spesso caratterizzano il dibattito pubblico e digitale. Si tratta di un invito a riscoprire la responsabilità insita in ogni atto comunicativo, tra il potere della parola e la necessità di preservarne l'essenza umana.
L'appuntamento vede la partecipazione di Assunta Corbo, giornalista esperta di giornalismo costruttivo, e di don Manuel Belli, teologo e noto comunicatore social, con la moderazione di don Alessio Magoga, direttore del settimanale diocesano L’Azione. L’evento si avvale del prestigioso patrocinio dell’Ucsi del Veneto e della Fisc.

The debate contrasts the theological perspective with that of contemporary journalism, investigating how language can be oriented towards the common good and the dignity of the person. Through dialogue among experts, the meeting aims to provide tools for communication that goes beyond mere data transmission, creating authentic relational spaces, overcoming the closures and distortions that often characterize public and digital debates. It is an invitation to rediscover the responsibility inherent in every communicative act, between the power of the word and the necessity of preserving its human essence.
The appointment features the participation of Assunta Corbo, an expert journalist in constructive journalism, and Don Manuel Belli, a theologian and well-known social communicator, moderated by Don Alessio Magoga, director of the diocesan weekly L’Azione.
