Following the success achieved with the exhibition in London, at the prestigious Cris Contini Contemporary Gallery, Paolo Battistutta arrives at the '900 Gallery of Palazzo Sarcinelli, bringing to Conegliano Sovereign Signs, a fascinating exhibition itinerary in which the artist constantly dialogues between figuration and abstraction, celebrating the mastery of the sign in all its forms.
The path unfolds around two distinct but deeply connected expressive souls that represent the core of his research: the portraits, icons of mass culture and pop music that, through a strong chromatic deconstruction, reveal a profound psychological investigation beyond the surface of celebrity, and the abstract-informal paintings, large-scale works, including the famous "Tondi," where reality completely dissolves and color and gesture impose themselves as true "sovereign signs" on the canvas, speaking directly to the observer's unconscious.

Paolo Battistutta was born in San Vito al Tagliamento on September 11, 1985. In 2004, he completed his studies at the State Art Institute of Cordenons (PN) and graduated in advertising graphics, photography, and engraving. He began painting in the early 2000s, discovering in painting an authentic and strong creative and expressive urgency. He currently lives and works in Villotta di Chions (PN).

September 1985 in San Vito al Tagliamento geboren.
