A quindici anni dal rientro della missione del Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) XIV a Herat, la mostra fotografica “Oltre il Presidio” riapre una finestra su uno dei capitoli più complessi della storia recente delle nostre Forze Armate. Ospitata nella sala espositiva di Corte delle Rose a Conegliano, con inaugurazione sabato 24 ottobre 2026 alle 15.30 e apertura in tutti i fine settimana di novembre ad ingresso libero, l’esposizione offre un profondo racconto visivo del legame umano nato tra i soldati italiani e la popolazione afghana.
Attraverso oltre 200 istantanee, il percorso documenta il duplice impegno del contingente a guida italiana: da un lato la sicurezza, dall’altro la ricostruzione di scuole, cliniche e infrastrutture. Più dei mezzi blindati, a occupare l'obiettivo sono i volti e le storie: lo sguardo dei bambini, il sorriso delle donne e la fatica degli Alpini della Julia. È il racconto dell'approccio italiano, fondato su rispetto, dialogo e mediazione culturale.
Promossa dalla Sezione ANA di Conegliano e dalla Fondazione Alpini nella Storia, con il patrocinio della Città di Conegliano, la mostra si chiude con una sezione dedicata ai caduti. Fifteen years after the return of the Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) XIV mission in Herat, the photographic exhibition “Beyond the Garrison” reopens a window on one of the most complex chapters in the recent history of our Armed Forces. Hosted in the exhibition hall of Corte delle Rose in Conegliano, with the inauguration on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. and open every weekend in November with free entry, the exhibition offers a profound visual narrative of the human bond formed between Italian soldiers and the Afghan population.
Through over 200 snapshots, the journey documents the dual commitment of the Italian-led contingent: on one side, security; on the other, the reconstruction of schools, clinics, and infrastructures. More than the armored vehicles, the focus is on the faces and the stories: the gaze of children, the smiles of women, and the hard work of the Alpini of Julia. It tells the story of the Italian approach, based on respect, dialogue, and cultural mediation.
Promoted by the ANA Section of Conegliano and the Foundation Alpini nella Storia, with the patronage of the City of Conegliano, the exhibition concludes with a section dedicated to the fallen. Fünfzehn Jahre nach der Rückkehr der Mission des Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) XIV in Herat öffnet die Fotoausstellung „Jenseits des Präsidiums“ ein Fenster zu einem der komplexesten Kapitel der jüngeren Geschichte unserer Streitkräfte. Untergebracht im Ausstellungssaal Corte delle Rose in Conegliano, mit der Eröffnung am Samstag, den 24. Oktober 2026 um 15.30 Uhr und freiem Eintritt an allen Wochenenden im November, bietet die Ausstellung eine tiefgreifende visuelle Erzählung über das menschliche Band, das zwischen den italienischen Soldaten und der afghanischen Bevölkerung entstanden ist.
Durch über 200 Momentaufnahmen dokumentiert der Weg das doppelte Engagement des italienischen Kontingents: einerseits Sicherheit, andererseits den Wiederaufbau von Schulen, Kliniken und Infrastrukturen. Mehr als gepanzerte Fahrzeuge stehen die Gesichter und Geschichten im Vordergrund: der Blick der Kinder, das Lächeln der Frauen und die Mühe der Alpini der Julia. Es ist das Erzählung des italienischen Ansatzes, der auf Respekt, Dialog und kultureller Vermittlung basiert.
Gefördert von der Sektion ANA in Conegliano und der Stiftung Alpini nella Storia, mit dem Sponsoring der Stadt Conegliano, schließt die Ausstellung mit einem Abschnitt, der den Gefallenen gewidmet ist.
