Domenica 11 maggio 2025, alle ore 18.00, presso l’Ex Convento San Francesco di Conegliano, si terrà l’incontro «Nel silenzio, riflettete nei vostri cuori» (Sal 4,5). Il Salterio, preghiera del corpo, con Luciano Manicardi, monaco di Bose, e Ilenya Goss, pastora valdese. Modera Gaia Ferrari.
Il Salterio è uno scrigno di parole e gesti, un libro che unisce la voce dell’uomo a quella di Dio. Non solo raccolta di preghiere, ma anche guida a un modo di abitare la vita alla luce della fede. I salmi, infatti, insegnano a pregare non solo con il pensiero, ma con tutto il corpo: mani alzate, ginocchia piegate, voce che invoca e respiro che accompagna. La preghiera diventa così un’esperienza incarnata, fatta di ascolto e presenza, di parola e silenzio.
Nel dialogo tra due voci autorevoli – quella monastica e quella protestante – emergerà la ricchezza di un linguaggio che, pur antico, sa parlare al cuore dell’uomo di oggi. Una riflessione che intreccia anima e corpo, spiritualità e concretezza, per riscoprire la preghiera come gesto di affidamento profondo e consapevole.

Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the Ex Convento San Francesco di Conegliano, there will be a meeting “In silence, reflect in your hearts” (Ps 4:5). The Psalms, prayer of the body, with Luciano Manicardi, a monk of Bose, and Ilenya Goss, a Waldensian pastor. Moderated by Gaia Ferrari.
The Psalter is a treasure of words and gestures, a book that unites the voice of man with that of God. Not just a collection of prayers, but also a guide to a way of living life in the light of faith. The psalms, in fact, teach us to pray not only with the mind but with the whole body: hands raised, knees bent, a voice that calls out, and breath that accompanies. Prayer thus becomes an embodied experience, made of listening and presence, of word and silence.
In the dialogue between two authoritative voices – the monastic and the Protestant – the richness of a language will emerge that, although ancient, can speak to the heart of today’s man. A reflection that intertwines soul and body, spirituality and concreteness, to rediscover prayer as a gesture of deep and conscious trust.
In case of bad weather, the meeting will take place at the Dina Orsi Theatre.

Der Psalm ist eine Schatztruhe aus Worten und Gesten, ein Buch, das die Stimme des Menschen mit der Gottes vereint. Nicht nur eine Sammlung von Gebeten, sondern auch ein Leitfaden für eine Lebensweise im Licht des Glaubens. Die Psalmen lehren uns, nicht nur mit dem Verstand zu beten, sondern mit dem ganzen Körper: erhobene Hände, geknickte Knie, eine Stimme, die anruft, und ein Atem, der begleitet. Das Gebet wird so zu einer verkörperten Erfahrung, die aus Zuhören und Präsenz, aus Wort und Stille besteht.
Im Dialog zwischen zwei autoritativen Stimmen – der monastischen und der protestantischen – wird der Reichtum einer Sprache hervortreten, die, obwohl alt, das Herz des Menschen von heute anspricht. Eine Reflexion, die Seele und Körper, Spiritualität und Konkretheit miteinander verwebt, um das Gebet als tiefes und bewusstes Vertrauen zu rediscovern.
Bei schlechtem Wetter findet das Treffen im Theater Dina Orsi statt.
