Il Teatro Accademia di Conegliano si prepara ad accogliere uno degli appuntamenti più intensi della stagione: martedì 5 maggio alle ore 21:00, Alessandro Preziosi porterà in scena "Le confessioni di S. Agostino". In questo atteso recital, l’attore dà corpo e voce a un Agostino immerso nei suoi pensieri più intimi, offrendo un’interpretazione magistrale che coniuga rigore e spontaneità. L’adattamento curato da Tommaso Mattei attraversa i momenti salienti dell’opera fino alla struggente epifania della conversione, in un flusso ritmico capace di tenere il pubblico sospeso tra parola e silenzio, tra ragione e sentimento.
A rendere l’esperienza ancora più immersiva è la partitura elettronica originale di Paky De Maio, che penetra la voce dell’attore creando un ambiente sonoro dove il suono diventa tempo, visione e attesa. Il palco si trasforma così in uno spazio psichico ed emozionale in cui passato, presente e futuro si fondono in un’unica tensione drammatica. Lo spettacolo si articola in dodici azioni sceniche cadenzate secondo le celebri categorie temporali agostiniane: il presente del passato che è memoria, il presente del presente che è visione e il presente del futuro che si fa attesa. Questa struttura scandisce il viaggio interiore del protagonista, dalla giovinezza dissoluta alla crisi, fino al desiderio di una vita trasformata.
La messa in scena, essenziale ma dinamica, vibra con un pensiero che dialoga costantemente con il pubblico contemporaneo, conservando intatta la densità poetica e la spiritualità del testo originale. The Teatro Accademia di Conegliano is preparing to welcome one of the most intense events of the season: on Tuesday, May 5th at 9:00 PM, Alessandro Preziosi will bring to the stage "The Confessions of St. Augustine". In this anticipated recital, the actor gives body and voice to an Augustine immersed in his most intimate thoughts, offering a masterful interpretation that combines rigor and spontaneity. The adaptation by Tommaso Mattei traverses the highlights of the work until the poignant epiphany of conversion, in a rhythmic flow capable of keeping the audience suspended between word and silence, between reason and feeling.
Enhancing the experience is the original electronic score by Paky De Maio, which penetrates the actor's voice, creating a sound environment where sound becomes time, vision, and expectation. The stage thus transforms into a psychic and emotional space where past, present, and future merge into a single dramatic tension. The performance is structured in twelve scenic actions spaced according to Augustine's famous temporal categories: the present of the past that is memory, the present of the present that is vision, and the present of the future that becomes expectation. This structure marks the inner journey of the protagonist, from a dissolute youth to a crisis, culminating in the desire for a transformed life.

Diese Struktur markiert die innere Reise des Protagonisten, von der zügellosen Jugend zur Krise, bis hin zum Verlangen nach einem verwandelten Leben.
Die Inszenierung, essentiell aber dynamisch, vibriert mit einem Gedanken, der ständig mit dem zeitgenössischen Publikum in Dialog tritt und die poetische Dichte und Spiritualität des Originaltextes intakt bewahrt.
