Sabato 24 maggio alle ore 11.00 si terrà l’inaugurazione della riqualificata Gradinata degli Alpini, alla presenza delle autorità civili e militari. La cerimonia sarà accompagnata dalla fanfara alpina di Conegliano e dal suggestivo sorvolo di aerei storici della Collezione Jonathan di Nervesa della Battaglia.
L’intervento di riqualificazione ha interessato un luogo simbolico per la città e per la Sezione ANA di Conegliano, restituendogli piena accessibilità e nuovo valore monumentale. Il progetto, curato dall’architetto Giuseppe Vedova in collaborazione con Sergio De Nardi, ha previsto la realizzazione di nuovi pennoni, l’eliminazione delle barriere architettoniche attraverso una rampa per persone con disabilità, e un significativo lavoro di valorizzazione dell’area.
Tra gli elementi centrali dell’opera: la posa di quattro blocchi in marmo giallo d’Istria, a simboleggiare le montagne, e l’inserimento di lastre commemorative in acciaio. I nuovi pennoni saranno collocati ai lati della gradinata, su fondazioni realizzate con pali infissi a circa 9 metri di profondità.
L’inaugurazione rappresenta non solo il momento conclusivo dei lavori, ma anche un’occasione per ribadire il legame tra la comunità, la memoria alpina e i luoghi della città.
On Saturday, May 24th, at 11:00 AM, the inauguration of the renovated Gradinata degli Alpini will take place, in the presence of civil and military authorities. The ceremony will be accompanied by the alpiner band from Conegliano and the stunning flyover of historic planes from the Jonathan Collection of Nervesa della Battaglia.
The renovation project has impacted a symbolic location for the city and for the ANA Section of Conegliano, restoring full accessibility and new monumental value. The project, overseen by architect Giuseppe Vedova in collaboration with Sergio De Nardi, included the construction of new flagpoles, the elimination of architectural barriers through a ramp for people with disabilities, and significant work to enhance the area.
Among the central features of the work: the installation of four blocks of Istrian yellow marble, symbolizing the mountains, and the addition of commemorative steel plaques. The new flagpoles will be placed on either side of the stairway, on foundations made with piles driven to a depth of about 9 meters.
The inauguration not only marks the conclusion of the works but also serves as an opportunity to reaffirm the bond between the community, alpine memory, and the city’s places.
Am Samstag, den 24. Mai um 11.00 Uhr findet die Einweihung der renovierten Gradinata degli Alpini in Anwesenheit der zivilen und militärischen Behörden statt. Die Zeremonie wird begleitet von der Bergfanfare aus Conegliano und dem beeindruckenden Überflug historischer Flugzeuge aus der Jonathan Sammlung in Nervesa della Battaglia.
Die Renovierungsarbeiten haben einen symbolischen Ort für die Stadt und die ANA-Sektion von Conegliano betroffen und ihm volle Zugänglichkeit sowie einen neuen monumentalen Wert zurückgegeben. Das Projekt, geleitet von Architekt Giuseppe Vedova in Zusammenarbeit mit Sergio De Nardi, sah die Errichtung von neuen Fahnenmasten, die Beseitigung von architektonischen Barrieren durch eine Rampe für Menschen mit Behinderungen sowie eine bedeutende Aufwertung des Gebiets vor.
Zu den zentralen Elementen des Werkes gehören: die Verlegung von vier Blöcken aus gelbem istrischem Marmor, die die Berge symbolisieren, und die Einfügung von gedächtnisplatten aus Stahl. Die neuen Fahnenmasten werden zu beiden Seiten der Treppe auf Fundamenten platziert, die mit in etwa 9 Meter Tiefe eingerammten Pfählen errichtet wurden.
Die Einweihung stellt nicht nur den Abschluss der Arbeiten dar, sondern auch eine Gelegenheit, die Verbindung zwischen der Gemeinschaft, der alpinen Erinnerung und den Orten der Stadt zu bekräftigen.
