La Giornata Nazionale del Trekking Urbano si celebra ogni anno il 31 di ottobre. Si tratta di un’iniziativa promossa a livello nazionale con l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare cittadini e visitatori sull’importanza di un turismo sostenibile e accessibile. Durante questa giornata, le città aderenti propongono itinerari tematici a piedi, che guidano i partecipanti alla scoperta del patrimonio storico, artistico e paesaggistico urbano.
L'appuntamento a Conegliano è per sabato 31 ottobre 2026 alle ore 15.00 per un percorso a piedi in città "Sulle tracce di San Francesco".
Partendo dalla sede dell’Ufficio IAT di Conegliano in viale Carducci 20, l’itinerario si snoderà tra le vie del centro storico fino a giungere sulla sommità del Colle di Giano.
In occasione dell'VIII centenario della morte di San Francesco d’Assisi, quest’anno ripercorrendo le vie della città, si cercheranno i luoghi evocativi della presenza francescana a Conegliano: il luogo dove sorgeva il convento delle Clarisse, ciò che resta del convento dei frati Zoccolanti, il convento dei Francescani conventuali, i vari luoghi dove si era stabilita la comunità dei frati Cappuccini, ma anche le opere d’arte che rappresentano San Francesco d’Assisi, realizzati da insigni pittori come Cima da Conegliano e Francesco Beccaruzzi.
Il trekking si concluderà con un brindisi nel giardino del Castello.
La prenotazione è obbligatoria fino ad esaurimento posti, a partire dal 5 ottobre. Verrà richiesto un contributo di partecipazione.

The National Urban Trekking Day is celebrated every year on the 31st of October. It is an initiative promoted at the national level with the aim of raising awareness among citizens and visitors about the importance of sustainable and accessible tourism. During this day, participating cities offer thematic walking routes that guide participants in discovering the historical, artistic, and landscape heritage of the urban environment.
The meeting point in Conegliano is on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. for a walking path in the city "In the Footsteps of Saint Francis".
Starting from the location of the IAT Office in Conegliano at Viale Carducci 20, the itinerary will weave through the streets of the historical center until reaching the summit of Colle di Giano.
On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, this year, while retracing the streets of the city, we will seek the evocative places linked to the presence of Franciscanism in Conegliano: the site where the convent of the Poor Clares once stood, what remains of the convent of the Zoccolanti friars, the convent of the Conventual Franciscans, the various places where the community of Capuchin friars settled, as well as the artworks representing Saint Francis of Assisi, created by illustrious painters such as Cima da Conegliano and Francesco Beccaruzzi.
The trekking will conclude with a toast in the garden of the Castle.
Reservation is mandatory until all places are filled, starting from October 5. A participation fee will be required.

Der Nationaltag des Urbanen Wanderns wird jedes Jahr am 31. Oktober gefeiert. Es handelt sich um eine auf nationaler Ebene geförderte Initiative, die darauf abzielt, Bürger und Besucher für die Bedeutung eines nachhaltigen und zugänglichen Tourismus zu sensibilisieren. An diesem Tag bieten die teilnehmenden Städte thematische Wanderungen an, die die Teilnehmer zur Entdeckung des historischen, künstlerischen und landschaftlichen Erbes urbaner Gebiete führen.
Das Treffen in Conegliano ist für Samstag, den 31. Oktober 2026 um 3.00 p.m. für einen Spaziergang durch die Stadt "Auf den Spuren des heiligen Franziskus" vorgesehen.
Ausgehend von der Tourismusinformation IAT in Conegliano, Viale Carducci 20, wird die Route durch die Straßen der Altstadt bis zum Gipfel des Colle di Giano führen.
Anlässlich des VIII. Jahrestages des Todes von Franziskus von Assisi werden in diesem Jahr die Wege der Stadt erkundet, um die Orte zu finden, die an die Präsenz des Franziskanerordens in Conegliano erinnern: der Ort, an dem das Kloster der Klarissen stand, das, was von dem Kloster der Zoccolanti-Mönche übrig geblieben ist, das Kloster der Konventualfranziskaner, die verschiedenen Orte, an denen die Gemeinschaft der Kapuziner lebte, sowie die Kunstwerke, die Franziskus von Assisi darstellen, geschaffen von bedeutenden Malern wie Cima da Conegliano und Francesco Beccaruzzi.
Das Wandern wird mit einem Trinkspruch im Garten des Schlosses enden.
Die Reservierung ist unbedingt erforderlich bis zur vollständigen Belegung, ab dem 5. Oktober. Ein Teilnahmebeitrag wird erhoben.
