Da sabato 9 maggio a domenica 14 giugno, Galleria Novecento di Palazzo Sarcinelli di Conegliano ospita la mostra fotografica "Da Warhol a Christo. Dalla Pop alla Land Art", dedicata all'opera di Gianfranco Gorgoni. L'esposizione, curata da Alberto Dambruoso e Fabio Cosentino e promossa dall'Associazione Artiglio, presenta una selezione di circa trenta fotografie iconiche che documentano i momenti più significativi dell'arte contemporanea internazionale dagli anni Sessanta fino agli ultimi anni di carriera dell'autore.
Il percorso espositivo offre una rara testimonianza del clima artistico newyorkese e dei grandi interventi ambientali americani. Tra le opere in mostra spiccano i ritratti di Andy Warhol, colto in momenti privati o accanto a figure come Giorgio De Chirico e il gallerista Leo Castelli. Ampio spazio è dedicato alla documentazione della Land Art, con i celebri reportage sulla Spiral Jetty di Robert Smithson e sulla Running Fence di Christo e Jeanne-Claude, interventi monumentali in cui il paesaggio stesso diventa tela e di cui gli scatti di Gorgoni rappresentano spesso l'unica memoria tangibile.
L'evento mira a creare una connessione ideale tra le riflessioni sul paesaggio tipiche della Land Art e le Colline Patrimonio UNESCO. La mostra verrà inaugurata sabato 9 maggio alle ore 18.00 resterà aperta fino al 14 giugno 2026 con ingresso gratuito. Gli orari di visita sono il giovedì e il venerdì dalle 17.00 alle 19.30, mentre il sabato e la domenica è previsto l'orario esteso dalle 9.30 alle 12.30 e dalle 15.30 alle 19.30. Completano il programma visite guidate con i curatori e incontri di approfondimento sul valore civile della cultura per il territorio
From Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, June 14, the Novecento Gallery of Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano hosts the photographic exhibition "From Warhol to Christo. From Pop to Land Art", dedicated to the works of Gianfranco Gorgoni. The exhibition, curated by Alberto Dambruoso and Fabio Cosentino and promoted by the Artiglio Association, presents a selection of approximately thirty iconic photographs that document the most significant moments of international contemporary art from the 1960s to the last years of the author's career.
The exhibition path offers a rare testimony to the New York artistic climate and the major American environmental interventions. Among the works on display stand out the portraits of Andy Warhol, captured in private moments or alongside figures such as Giorgio De Chirico and the gallery owner Leo Castelli. Significant space is dedicated to the documentation of Land Art, with the famous reports on Robert Smithson's Spiral Jetty and Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Running Fence, monumental interventions where the landscape itself becomes a canvas and of which Gorgoni's shots often represent the only tangible memory.
The event aims to create an ideal connection between reflections on landscape typical of Land Art and the UNESCO Heritage Hills. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday, May 9 at 6:00 PM and will remain open until June 14, 2026, with free admission. Visiting hours are Thursday and Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, while Saturday and Sunday have extended hours from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Guided tours with the curators and in-depth meetings on the civil value of culture for the territory complete the program.
Vom Samstag, dem 9. Mai bis Sonntag, dem 14. Juni beherbergt die Galleria Novecento im Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano die fotografische Ausstellung "Von Warhol zu Christo. Von der Pop- zur Land Art", die dem Werk von Gianfranco Gorgoni gewidmet ist. Die Ausstellung, kuratiert von Alberto Dambruoso und Fabio Cosentino und gefördert von der Associazione Artiglio, präsentiert eine Auswahl von etwa dreißig ikonischen Fotografien, die die bedeutendsten Momente der internationalen zeitgenössischen Kunst von den sechziger Jahren bis zu den letzten Jahren der Karriere des Autors dokumentieren.
Der Ausstellungsweg bietet ein rares Zeugnis des künstlerischen Klimas in New York und der großen amerikanischen Landschaftsinterventionen. Unter den ausgestellten Werken stechen die Porträts von Andy Warhol hervor, der in privaten Momenten oder neben Figuren wie Giorgio De Chirico und dem Galeristen Leo Castelli festgehalten ist. Ein breiter Raum ist der Dokumentation der Land Art gewidmet, mit den berühmten Reportagen über die Spiral Jetty von Robert Smithson und über den Running Fence von Christo und Jeanne-Claude, monumentale Eingriffe, bei denen die Landschaft selbst zur Leinwand wird und deren Aufnahmen von Gorgoni oft die einzige greifbare Erinnerung darstellen.
Die Veranstaltung hat das Ziel, eine ideale Verbindung zwischen den Gedanken über die Landschaft, die für die Land Art typisch sind, und den UNESCO-Welterbe-Hügeln zu schaffen. Die Ausstellung wird am Samstag, dem 9. Mai um 18.00 Uhr eröffnet und bleibt bis zum 14. Juni 2026 mit freiem Eintritt geöffnet. Die Öffnungszeiten sind Donnerstag und Freitag von 17.00 bis 19.30 Uhr, während am Samstag und Sonntag die erweiterten Zeiten von 9.30 bis 12.30 Uhr und von 15.30 bis 19.30 Uhr vorgesehen sind. Das Programm wird durch Führungen mit den Kuratoren und Vertiefungstreffen über den zivilen Wert der Kultur für das Territorium ergänzt.
