A 2.416 metri di altitudine, nel cuore delle Dolomiti patrimonio UNESCO, il Rifugio Averau invita gli amanti della montagna e del cielo a vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile tra gusto, natura e astronomia. Grazie alla certificazione “Gold” di Astronomitaly, assegnata ai luoghi con il più basso inquinamento luminoso, l’Averau è oggi considerato uno dei migliori osservatori naturali d’Italia.
Venerdì 24 e sabato 25 luglio, a partire dalle ore 20:30, due esperti astronomi guideranno gli ospiti in un emozionante viaggio nel cosmo con telescopi professionali: la Luna, il Triangolo Estivo, le stelle doppie Mizar e Albireo, l’ammasso di Ercole e i grandi tesori del cielo estivo saranno protagonisti di una serata sospesa tra scienza ed emozione.
L’esperienza di stargazing è abbinata alla cena à la carte del rifugio con un contributo di 15 € per il coperto, comprensivo di osservazione guidata e assistenza tecnica.
Sabato 25 luglio, dalle 12:00 alle 16:00, il cielo si accende anche di giorno con una speciale osservazione del Sole: grazie a telescopi solari certificati sarà possibile ammirare macchie solari, protuberanze e dettagli della nostra stella in totale sicurezza.

At 2,416 meters above sea level, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, the Averau Refuge invites mountain and sky lovers to experience an unforgettable journey through taste, nature, and astronomy. Thanks to the “Gold” certification from Astronomitaly, awarded to places with the lowest light pollution, the Averau is now considered one of the best natural observatories in Italy.
Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, starting at 8:30 p.m., two expert astronomers will guide guests on an exciting journey into the cosmos with professional telescopes: the Moon, the Summer Triangle, the double stars Mizar and Albireo, the Hercules cluster, and the great treasures of the summer sky will be the stars of an evening suspended between science and emotion.
The stargazing experience is paired with the à la carte dinner of the refuge with a contribution of €15 for the cover charge, which includes guided observation and technical assistance.
Saturday, July 25, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the sky lights up even during the day with a special observation of the Sun: thanks to certified solar telescopes, it will be possible to admire sunspots, prominences, and details of our star in total safety.

Auf 2.416 Metern Höhe, im Herzen der UNESCO-Welterbestätte Dolomiten, lädt die Rifugio Averau Berg- und Himmel liebende Menschen ein, ein unvergessliches Erlebnis zwischen Genuss, Natur und Astronomie zu erleben. Dank der "Gold"-Zertifizierung von Astronomitaly, die Orten mit der geringsten Lichtverschmutzung verliehen wird, gilt das Averau heute als eines der besten natürlichen Observatorien Italiens.
Freitag, 24. und Samstag, 25. Juli, ab 20:30 Uhr, werden zwei Astronomie-Experten die Gäste auf eine aufregende Reise durch das Universum mit professionellen Teleskopen begleiten: Der Mond, das Sommerdreieck, die Doppelsterne Mizar und Albireo, der Herkuleshaufen und die großen Schätze des Sommerhimmels werden Protagonisten eines Abends sein, der zwischen Wissenschaft und Emotionen schwebt.
Das Sternenbeobachtungserlebnis wird mit dem à la carte Abendessen des Refugiums kombiniert, mit einem Beitrag von 15 € für den Tisch, inklusive geleiteter Beobachtung und technischer Unterstützung.
Am Samstag, den 25. Juli, von 12:00 bis 16:00 Uhr, erstrahlt der Himmel auch tagsüber mit einer speziellen Sonnenbeobachtung: Dank zertifizierter Sonnenteleskope wird es möglich sein, Sonnenflecken, Protuberanzen und Details unseres Sterns in völliger Sicherheit zu bewundern.
