Per accogliere nei migliori dei modi gli ateti della LUT la famigia Siorpaes del rifugio Averau organizza per venerdì 27 e sabato 28 giugno un ristoro riservato agli atleti che rimarrà aperto fino al loro passaggio.
Per gli spettatori invece sarà disponibile la FAGIOLATA ALLA BUD SPENCER, in onore all'attore nato proprio il 27 di giugno.
La diciottesima edizione della Lavaredo Ultra Trail, una delle competizioni di trail running tra le più attese a livello europeo, attraverserà l’area tra Cortina, 5 Torri e Croda da Lago. Arriveranno da tutto il mondo per questa incredibile corsa che in 120 km abbraccerà i luoghi più spettacolari delle Dolomiti. La sera di venerdì 27 giugno a partire dalle ore 23.00, Corso Italia si illuminerà grazie alle centinaia di lampade frontali che guideranno gli atleti nei loro primi chilometri di corsa notturna. Un lungo viaggio a piedi che vedrà impegnati grandi campioni, capaci di tagliare il traguardo in 12 ore, e semplici appassionati che avranno 30 ore di tempo per arrivare a Cortina entro il tempo massimo stabilito. L'evento propone 5 distanze di gara; per chi volesse tifare gli atleti in gara ecco i punti in cui transitano per il rifugio Averau rispetto ai diversi percorsi:
- per la gara di 120 km il 27 giugno al km 101
- per la gara di 80 km il 28 giugno al km 58
- per la gara di 50 km il 27 giugno al km 30
La festa continuerà in riva al lago di Federa dove come da tradizione, per festeggiare il passaggio degli atleti la famiglia Alverà del rifugio Croda da Lago organizza una pollastrata (polli allo spiedo) e musica dal vivo in riva al Lago di Federa APERTA A TUTTI.

To welcome the Lavaredo Ultra Trail athletes in the best possible way, the Siorpaes family of the Averau refuge is organizing a refreshment area reserved for the athletes on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 June, which will remain open until they pass through.
For spectators, a bean-based dish will be available, known as Fagiolata alla Bud Spencer, in honor of the actor born on June 27th.
The seventeenth edition of The Lavaredo Ultra Trail, one of Europe's most important and highly anticipated trail races, will pass through Cortina, 5 Torri and Croda da Lago. People from all over the world will be coming to this incredible race, which will pass through the most spectacular places in the Dolomites, covering a distance of 120 km. On the evening of Friday 27th June, from 11 p.m., hundreds of headlamps will shine on the boulevard Corso Italia, illuminating the way for the athletes on their first kilometres of night running. It is a long journey on foot, that will be completed by professional athletes in 12 hours, but also a run for amateurs, who will have to cross the finish line within a maximum time of 30 hours.

To give the athletes a proper welcome, the Siorpaes family of the Averau Refuge is organizing a refreshment point reserved for the athletes on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th June, which will remain open until all participants have passed. For spectators, a bean-based dish will be available, known as Fagiolata alla Bud Spencer, in honor of the actor born on June 27th.
The party continues on the shores of Lake Federa, where the Alverà family of the Croda da Lago Refuge traditionally celebrates this great sporting event with chicken on a spit and live music. This event is OPEN TO ALL.
