Reparto di ginecologia. Una donna ha le contrazioni e sta per partorire. La situazione è concitata: un ostetrico cerca di tranquillizzarla, ma soprattutto cerca di tranquillizzare l’uomo che la accompagna: il marito? No. Il fratello? No. Il compagno? Non proprio. Diciamo un amico speciale al quale la donna ha nascosto la sua gravidanza! A volte l’amore è più vicino di quanto crediamo... Con questa commedia Pignotta compie un passo importante che varca la sogliadell’esplorazione dell’animo, delle pulsioni, paure, speranze e desideri di una generazione che ha voglia di trovare un suo equilibrio nel marasma di una vita che ha perso punti di riferimento certi. Contrazioni, queste raccontate da Pignotta, che bene rendono il paragone con quelle lotte intestine che, non solo la generazione dei quarantenni, si trova a vivere nel quotidiano. Una commedia che fa tanto ridere, tanto emozionare ma anche riflettere sui nostri limiti, pesantezze e fragilità e che ci invita ad affrontare la vita con maggior sforzo…

Gynecology department. A woman is having contractions and is about to give birth. The situation is frantic: an obstetrician tries to calm her down, but above all, he tries to calm down the man accompanying her: her husband? No. Her brother? No. Her partner? Not quite. Let's say a special friend to whom the woman has hidden her pregnancy! Sometimes love is closer than we think... With this comedy, Pignotta takes an important step that crosses the threshold of exploring the soul, the drives, fears, hopes, and desires of a generation that wants to find its balance in the chaos of a life that has lost certain points of reference. Contractions, as told by Pignotta, aptly reflect the comparison with those inner struggles that not only the generation of forty-somethings faces in daily life. A comedy that makes us laugh a lot, moves us deeply, but also makes us reflect on our limits, burdens, and fragilities, inviting us to face life with greater effort...

Gynäkologisches Fachgebiet. Eine Frau hat Wehen und steht kurz vor der Geburt. Die Situation ist angespannt: Ein Geburtshelfer versucht, sie zu beruhigen, vor allem aber versucht er, den Mann zu beruhigen, der sie begleitet: der Ehemann? Nein. Der Bruder? Nein. Der Lebensgefährte? Nicht ganz. Sagen wir ein besonderer Freund, dem die Frau ihre Schwangerschaft verborgen hat! Manchmal ist die Liebe näher, als wir denken... Mit dieser Komödie macht Pignotta einen wichtigen Schritt, der die Schwelle zur Erkundung der Seele, der Triebe, Ängste, Hoffnungen und Wünsche einer Generation überschreitet, die ein Gleichgewicht im Chaos eines Lebens finden möchte, das seine festen Bezugspunkte verloren hat. Wehen, wie sie von Pignotta erzählt werden, stehen gut im Vergleich zu den inneren Kämpfen, mit denen nicht nur die Generation der Vierzigjährigen im Alltag konfrontiert ist. Eine Komödie, die viel zum Lachen, viel zum Emotionieren, aber auch zum Nachdenken über unsere Grenzen, Schwerigkeiten und Zerbrechlichkeiten anregt und uns einlädt, das Leben mit mehr Einsatz zu konfrontieren…
