Edificato nel 1516 sulle fondamenta di una precedente chiesa dedicata a S. Martino. Dopo l’abbattimento dell’antico Battistero nel 1555, ne assunse il titolo e la funzione. Il terremoto del 1873 distrusse la vicina chiesa di S. Andrea, da cui proviene la trecentesca Madonna delle Grazie. All’interno, sulla vasca battesimale, S. Giovanni Battista di Andrea Brustolon (1662-1732).

Built in 1516 on the foundations of a previous church dedicated to S. Martino. After the old Baptistery was knocked down in 1555, it took over the name and role of that building. The earthquake of 1873 destroyed the nearby S.Andrea’s church, from which comes the fourteenth century Madonna delle Grazie. Inside, on the baptismal font, there is S. John the Baptist by Andrea Brustolon (1662-1732).

Foi construído em 1516 sobre as fundações de uma antiga igreja dedicada a S. Martino. Após a demolição do antigo batistério em 1555, o atual assumiu o título e a função. O terremoto de 1873 destruiu a vizinha igreja de S. Andrea, de onde veio a estátua de Nossa Senhora das Graças do século XIV. No interior, na pia batismal, S. João Batista de Andrea Brustolon (1662-1732).
