Sabato 20 marzo alle ore 20:45 si terrà lo spettacolo "The horse of Jenin", presso il Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Una storia universale di resilienza, un inno al potere dell'immaginazione. "Il cavallo di Jenin", spettacolo che combina narrazione, maschera e stand-up comedy, scritto e interpretato dall'attore e comico palestinese Alaa Shehada, parla di un ragazzo che cresce a Jenin, nella Palestina occupata, ma che, come ogni bambino al mondo, desidera soprattutto giocare e divertirsi. Dopo una grande invasione nel 2002, un artista tedesco arrivò in città per creare un’opera d’arte con i bambini di Jenin. Costruirono un cavallo, alto cinque metri, fatto di metallo e detriti provenienti dall’invasione.
Il cavallo è un simbolo arabo di libertà, ma questo esemplare rappresentava anche una forma di resistenza pacifica; era un simbolo di resilienza. Nell’ottobre 2023 un bulldozer dell’esercito israeliano entrò nel campo e il cavallo venne sradicato e portato via. Con questo spettacolo, Alaa costruisce un nuovo cavallo, fatto di frammenti dei suoi ricordi uniti ad una gran dose di umorismo e immaginazione. Un simbolo teatrale di resistenza e fantasia.

On Saturday, March 20 at 8:45 p.m., the show "The horse of Jenin" will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
A universal story of resilience, a hymn to the power of imagination. "The horse of Jenin," a performance that combines storytelling, masks, and stand-up comedy, written and performed by Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada, tells the story of a boy growing up in Jenin, in occupied Palestine, who, like every child in the world, primarily wants to play and have fun. After a major invasion in 2002, a German artist came to the city to create a work of art with the children of Jenin. They built a horse, five meters tall, made of metal and debris from the invasion.
The horse is an Arab symbol of freedom, but this example also represented a form of peaceful resistance; it was a symbol of resilience. In October 2023, an Israeli army bulldozer entered the camp, and the horse was uprooted and taken away. With this show, Alaa constructs a new horse, made of fragments of his memories combined with a large dose of humor and imagination. A theatrical symbol of resistance and fantasy.

Am Samstag, den 20. März um 20:45 Uhr findet die Vorstellung "Das Pferd von Jenin", im Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati statt.
Eine universelle Geschichte der Resilienz, ein Loblied auf die Macht der Vorstellungskraft. "Das Pferd von Jenin", eine Aufführung, die Erzählung, Maske und Stand-up-Comedy kombiniert, geschrieben und dargestellt von dem palästinensischen Schauspieler und Komiker Alaa Shehada, handelt von einem Jungen, der in Jenin im besetzten Palästina aufwächst, aber wie jedes Kind auf der Welt vor allem spielen und Spaß haben möchte. Nach einer großen Invasion im Jahr 2002 kam ein deutscher Künstler in die Stadt, um ein Kunstwerk mit den Kindern von Jenin zu schaffen. Sie bauten ein fünf Meter hohes Pferd, aus Metall und Trümmern der Invasion.
Das Pferd ist ein arabisches Symbol der Freiheit, aber dieses Exemplar stellte auch eine Form des friedlichen Widerstands dar; es war ein Symbol der Resilienz. Im Oktober 2023 fuhr ein Bulldozer der israelischen Armee in das Lager ein, und das Pferd wurde entwurzelt und fortgebracht. Mit dieser Aufführung baut Alaa ein neues Pferd, aus den Fragmenten seiner Erinnerungen, vereint mit einer großen Portion Humor und Vorstellungskraft. Ein theatrales Symbol des Widerstands und der Fantasie.
