Giovedì 25 febbraio alle ore 21:00 si terrà lo spettacolo musicale "Suona Buena Vista Social Club", presso il Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Suona Buena Vista Social Club è uno dei progetti di maggior successo della Temporary Band, il collettivo musicale che porta a teatro i grandi repertori della musica italiana e internazionale con identità teatrale e cura scenica. Per l'occasione, l'omaggio delicato e rispettoso al Son Cubano — dedicato all'album e alle atmosfere del celebre film di Wim Wenders — è affidato a un ensemble composto dai migliori musicisti del settore, guidato da alcune tra le voci più autorevoli della musica cubana in Europa. Un viaggio nella "Perla dei Caraibi" che restituisce al pubblico tutto il calore, la nostalgia e la forza vitale della vecchia Avana, sulle tracce dei giganti del genere come Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo e Rubén González.
In scaletta i brani più iconici del repertorio, da Chan Chan, l'inconfondibile apertura simbolo del progetto, al bolero senza tempo Dos Gardenias, fino alle energiche descargas che facevano ballare i locali dell'Avana anni Cinquanta, tra son, danzón e guajira. Un concerto-evento raffinato ed elegante, capace di far rivivere l'anima inconfondibilmente jazz e latina della Cuba Vieja e di trasportare lo spettatore, almeno per una sera, tra il calore e il ritmo dei Caraibi. Suona Buena Vista Social Club is one of the most successful projects of the Temporary Band, the musical collective that brings major repertoires of Italian and international music to the theater with theatrical identity and scenic care. For this occasion, the delicate and respectful tribute to Son Cubano — dedicated to the album and the atmospheres of the famous film by Wim Wenders — is entrusted to an ensemble made up of the best musicians in the industry, led by some of the most authoritative voices of Cuban music in Europe. A journey into the "Pearl of the Caribbean" that returns to the audience all the warmth, nostalgia, and vital energy of old Havana, following in the footsteps of the giants of the genre such as Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo, and Rubén González.
On the program are the most iconic songs of the repertoire, from Chan Chan, the unmistakable opening symbol of the project, to the timeless bolero Dos Gardenias, to the energetic descargas that made locals dance in 1950s Havana, blending son, danzón, and guajira. A refined and elegant concert-event, capable of reviving the unmistakably jazz and Latin soul of Cuba Vieja and transporting the audience, at least for one evening, among the warmth and rhythm of the Caribbean.
