Domenica 5 e lunedì 6 aprile, rispettivamente Pasqua e Pasquetta, dalle ore 15.00, grandi e piccini della Città di Belluno e oltre sono invitati alla Piazzetta San Nicolò di Borgo Piave per giocare al rolo come da tradizione.
Era usanza, infatti, di Borgo Piave giocare al rolo sulla parte pavimentata del Ponte Vecchio dove una volta, come ricordava anche Gianni Secco già protagonista del nostro Museo Maschere Dolomitiche a palazzo Secco, si faceva il campo usando la sabbia della Piave e ci si sfidava con le uova fatte rotolare sul lavador (tavola per lavare i panni).
Per partecipare al gioco è necessario arrivare muniti di 1-2 uova sode dipinte, per distinguerle da quelle degli altri partecipanti, e delle monetine da mettere in campo per il gioco (20 cent).
Anche quest’anno la nostra associazione ha voluto dedicare l’evento a Luciano Clapis, abitante di Borgo Pra, che per anni ha portato avanti la tradizione in piazza dei Martiri ed è recentemente scomparso.
Per alimentare le attività associative è consigliato un contributo volontario di 3 euro a persona ed è gradito un cenno di partecipazione scrivendo a segreteria@borgopiaveetc.it.

It was customary, indeed, in Borgo Piave to play rolo on the paved part of the Ponte Vecchio where once, as Gianni Secco, a notable figure in our Museo Maschere Dolomitiche at Palazzo Secco, recalled, the field was made using sand from the Piave River, and challenges were held by rolling eggs on the lavador (the board for washing clothes).
To participate in the game, it is necessary to arrive with 1-2 painted hard-boiled eggs, to distinguish them from those of other participants, and coins to play with (20 cents).
This year, our association wanted to dedicate the event to Luciano Clapis, a resident of Borgo Pra, who for years carried on the tradition in Piazza dei Martiri and has recently passed away.
To support the association's activities, a voluntary contribution of 3 euros per person is recommended, and we would appreciate a note of participation by writing to segreteria@borgopiaveetc.it.
Am Sonntag, den 5. und Montag, den 6. April, Ostern und Ostermontag, ab 15:00 Uhr sind Groß und Klein der Stadt Belluno und darüber hinaus zur Piazzetta San Nicolò di Borgo Piave eingeladen, um traditionell das rolo zu spielen.
In der Tat war es Brauch in Borgo Piave, das rolo auf dem gepflasterten Teil der Ponte Vecchio zu spielen, wo früher, wie auch Gianni Secco, der bereits Protagonist unseres Museums Maschere Dolomitiche im Palazzo Secco war, erinnerte, das Feld mit dem Sand des Piave gemacht wurde und man sich mit den Eiern, die auf dem lavador (Waschtisch) gerollt wurden, herausforderte.
Um am Spiel teilzunehmen, ist es notwendig, mit 1-2 bemalten gekochten Eiern zu erscheinen, um sie von den anderen Teilnehmern zu unterscheiden, und münzen zum Spielen (20 Cent) mitzubringen.
Auch in diesem Jahr wollte unsere Vereinigung die Veranstaltung Luciano Clapis widmen, einem Einwohner von Borgo Pra, der über Jahre die Tradition auf der Piazza dei Martiri fortgeführt hat und kürzlich verstorben ist.
Zur Unterstützung der Vereinsaktivitäten ist ein freiwilliger Beitrag von 3 Euro pro Person empfohlen, und wir würden uns über eine Rückmeldung zur Teilnahme freuen, indem Sie an segreteria@borgopiaveetc.it schreiben.
