Ciclo di serate “Pedali e altre storie”, dedicato ai viaggi in bicicletta e al cicloturismo, organizzato dalla FIAB Belluno APS che si svolgeranno in Sala Bianchi alle ore 20:45.
Venerdì 23 gennaio: Pole Pole - Racconti e diari di tre viaggi lenti attraverso l'Africa, dall'Uganda a Città del Capo. Con Alessandro Barbisan.
<Quando un sogno nel cassetto decide di uscire. Tutti abbiamo quel viaggio che rimandiamo a un ipotetico "un giorno...". Poi succede qualcosa. A volte basta una piccola cosa, una di quelle che capitano tutti i giorni: per me l'ascolto di una canzone. È bastata quella melodia, arrivata all’improvviso, per farmi vibrare come una corda di violino. In quel momento il viaggio è diventato realtà.
Sono partito in modo semplice: poche cose e la certezza che avrei trovato il necessario lungo la strada. Perché, come ho imparato attraversando l’Africa, "pagando con le scomodità materiali si guadagna la ricchezza degli incontri".
Vi racconterò di tre storie, di chilometri in bicicletta e di vita vissuta a ritmo "Pole Pole". Ma cosa significa davvero? Non ve lo svelo qui. Vi aspetto per scoprirlo insieme.>

<When a long-held dream decides to come out. We all have that trip we postpone to some hypothetical "one day...". Then something happens. Sometimes it's just a small thing, one of those that happen every day: for me, it was listening to a song. That melody, arriving suddenly, made me vibrate like a violin string. At that moment, the journey became reality.
I set off simply: a few things and the certainty that I would find what I needed along the way. Because, as I learned while crossing Africa, "by paying with material discomforts, you gain the richness of encounters."
I will tell you three stories, of kilometers on a bicycle and of life lived at a "Pole Pole" pace. But what does it really mean? I won't reveal it here. I look forward to discovering it together with you.>

<Wenn ein Traum in der Schublade beschließt, herauszukommen. Jeder von uns hat diese Reise, die wir auf einen hypothetischen „eines Tages...“ verschieben. Dann passiert etwas. Manchmal braucht man nur eine Kleinigkeit, einen dieser Momente, die jeden Tag passieren: für mich das Hören eines Liedes. Diese Melodie, die plötzlich kam, ließ mich wie eine Geigensaite vibrieren. In diesem Moment wurde die Reise zur Realität.
Ich bin einfach aufgebrochen: wenig Gepäck und die Gewissheit, dass ich unterwegs das Nötigste finden würde. Denn, wie ich beim Durchqueren Afrikas gelernt habe, "kauft man mit materiellen Unannehmlichkeiten den Reichtum an Begegnungen".
Ich werde euch von drei Geschichten, von Kilometern auf dem Fahrrad und vom Leben im Rhythmus „Pole Pole“ erzählen. Aber was bedeutet das wirklich? Ich verrate es euch hier nicht. Ich freue mich darauf, das gemeinsam mit euch herauszufinden.>
