Mercoledì 11 febbraio si terrà la rappresentazione teatrale Mirandolina, presso il Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Ispirato al capolavoro goldoniano La locandiera, Mirandolina della drammaturga irlandese Marina Carr, diretto dalla regista irlandese Caitríona McLaughlin, esamina la vita di una giovane donna smarrita e degli ammiratori e predatori che la circondano. In questo clima, le giovani donne non sono mai state così in pericolo o in balia delle bugie che vengono loro propinate su ogni aspetto del loro essere.
Marina Carr colloca Mirandolina in un ristorante italiano a Dublino, mettendo in luce come fascino, arguzia e resilienza restino strumenti necessari per le donne in un mondo ancora dilagante di pericoli e disuguaglianze.
Mirandolina fa parte dell’Olimpiade Culturale di Milano-Cortina 2026, ricordando che l’arte può dire ciò che la politica spesso non riesce a esprimere: attraversa i confini, apre conversazioni e illumina verità sul potere, sulla società e sul coraggio dell’umanità.

On Wednesday, February 11, there will be a theatrical performance of Mirandolina, at the Dino Buzzati Municipal Theatre.
Inspired by the Goldonian masterpiece La locandiera, Mirandolina by Irish playwright Marina Carr, directed by Irish director Caitríona McLaughlin, examines the life of a lost young woman and the admirers and predators surrounding her. In this climate, young women have never been so endangered or at the mercy of the lies that are fed to them about every aspect of their being.
Marina Carr places Mirandolina in an Italian restaurant in Dublin, highlighting how charm, wit, and resilience remain necessary tools for women in a world still rife with dangers and inequalities.
Mirandolina is part of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympics, reminding us that art can say what politics often fails to express: it crosses boundaries, opens conversations, and illuminates truths about power, society, and the courage of humanity.

Am Mittwoch, den 11. Februar findet die Theateraufführung Mirandolina im Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati statt.
Inspiriert vom goldonischen Meisterwerk La locandiera, untersucht Mirandolina der irischen Dramatikerin Marina Carr, unter der Regie der irischen Regisseurin Caitríona McLaughlin, das Leben einer verlorenen jungen Frau und der Bewunderer und Raubtiere, die sie umgeben. In diesem Klima waren junge Frauen nie so gefährdet oder der Lügen ausgeliefert, die ihnen über alle Aspekte ihres Seins erzählt werden.
Marina Carr platziert Mirandolina in einem italienischen Restaurant in Dublin und hebt hervor, wie Charme, Witz und Resilienz notwendige Werkzeuge für Frauen in einer Welt voller Gefahren und Ungleichheiten bleiben.
Mirandolina ist Teil der Kulturellen Olympiade Mailand-Cortina 2026 und erinnert daran, dass Kunst oft das ausdrücken kann, was die Politik nicht vermag: sie überquert Grenzen, eröffnet Gespräche und beleuchtet Wahrheiten über Macht, Gesellschaft und den Mut der Menschheit.
