Mostra organizzata nell’ambito del progetto “Minore: un Faro sul patrimonio culturale”, a cura dell'Associazione Italia Nostra Sezione di Belluno, in collaborazione con il Comune di Belluno.
Italia Nostra desidera far conoscere e valorizzare le fontane e i lavatoi del territorio comunale, mettendo in luce il valore storico, architettonico, culturale e antropologico di questi beni che anche se considerati minori, sono comunque parte integrante del nostro patrimonio culturale alla cui tutela è volta l’azione di Italia Nostra.
Le antiche fontane che ornano le piazze del Centro Storico sono una caratteristica di grande pregio della Città di Belluno. La maggior parte di esse è stata edificata nei primi anni del 1400 e alcune del 1500. Seppure oggi non sono più come una volta, luogo di incontro della popolazione e fonte preziosa del fabbisogno idrico della comunità, sono comunque elementi architettonici dell’arredo urbano che poche città hanno.
Molto importanti dal punto di vista storico-sociale sono anche i lavatoi disseminati nelle frazioni del Comune, in particolare nel Castionese.
Exhibition organized as part of the project “Minor: a Lighthouse on Cultural Heritage,” curated by the Italia Nostra Association, Belluno Section, in collaboration with the Municipality of Belluno.
Italia Nostra aims to raise awareness and enhance the fountains and washhouses of the area municipality, highlighting the historical, architectural, cultural, and anthropological value of these assets which, although considered minor, are nevertheless an integral part of our cultural heritage, whose protection is the focus of Italia Nostra's actions.
The ancient fountains that adorn the squares of the Historic Center are a highly valued feature of the City of Belluno. Most of them were built in the early 1400s, with some from the 1500s. Although they are no longer the gathering places for the population or a vital source of water supply for the community, they remain architectural elements of urban furniture that few cities possess.
Also very important from a historical-social perspective are the washhouses scattered throughout the municipalities' districts, particularly in Castionese.
Die Ausstellung findet im Rahmen des Projekts “Minore: ein Leuchtturm für das kulturelle Erbe”, statt, organisiert von der Vereinigung Italia Nostra, Sektion Belluno, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Belluno.
Italia Nostra möchte die Brunnen und Waschplätze des Gemeindegebiets bekannt machen und wertschätzen, indem sie den historischen, architektonischen, kulturellen und anthropologischen Wert dieser Güter hervorhebt, die, auch wenn sie als geringfügig angesehen werden, dennoch einen integralen Bestandteil unseres kulturellen Erbes darstellen, dessen Schutz im Fokus der Arbeit von Italia Nostra steht.
Die alten Brunnen, die die Plätze der Altstadt schmücken, sind ein wertvolles Merkmal der Stadt Belluno. Die meisten von ihnen wurden in den frühen Jahren des 15. Jahrhunderts und einige im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut. Obwohl sie heute nicht mehr die Treffpunkte der Bevölkerung sind und nicht mehr die wichtige Wasserquelle für die Gemeinschaft darstellen, sind sie dennoch architektonische Elemente der Stadtgestaltung, die nur wenige Städte haben.
Auch die in den Ortsteilen der Gemeinde verstreuten Waschplätze, insbesondere im Castionese, sind aus historisch-sozialer Sicht von großer Bedeutung.
