Giovedì 19 febbraio presso il Teatro Dino Buzzati si terrà lo spettacolo teatrale Ilva Football Club, inserito nella rassegna teatrale "Giovedì giovani".
“C’era una volta un campo da calcio in mezzo al quartiere, uno di quei campi di periferia che ti segnano le ginocchia per tutta la vita, quelli con le porte fatte di tubi innocenti, le reti rubate ai pescatori e lungo la recinzione metallica distese di mozziconi spenti a fare compagnia ai tifosi. Quelli dove tutti, o quasi hanno sognato di diventare calciatori. In quell’arena per gladiatori, giocava una squadra di undici uomini, che scendevano in campo senza pretese e che non sospettavano per niente del destino che li attendeva. Questa è la storia di una cavalcata incredibile, di un gol impossibile all’ultimo minuto e del sogno chiamato Ilva Football Club”.
Ilva Football Club parla di un sogno, un sogno grande due volte la città, un sogno che lentamente e inesorabilmente si sgretola e si scontra con la realtà. La storia della più grande acciaieria d’Europa s’intreccia alla leggenda di questa piccola squadra nata proprio sotto le ciminiere dell’Ilva, per dare voce alle tante storie vissute a Taranto. Storie di lotta tra salute e lavoro, tra speranza e disillusione, tra sogno e realtà. Attraverso la metafora sportiva, la poesia delle immagini e la verità delle testimonianze, Ilva Football Club racconta la storia di una città sacrificabile, che oggi è Taranto ma domani potrebbe essere un’altra città, mostrandoci quanto ciò che accade ci riguarda molto più di quanto immaginiamo.

On Thursday, February 19, at the Teatro Dino Buzzati, the theatrical performance Ilva Football Club will take place, part of the "Giovedì giovani" theater series.
“Once upon a time, there was a soccer field in the middle of the neighborhood, one of those outskirts fields that mark your knees for a lifetime, those with goals made of innocent pipes, nets stolen from fishermen, and along the metal fence, stretches of extinguished cigarette butts keeping company with the fans. Those were the fields where everyone, or almost everyone, dreamed of becoming soccer players. In that arena for gladiators, there played a team of eleven men, who stepped onto the field without pretensions and who had no idea of the fate that awaited them. This is the story of an incredible run, of an impossible goal at the last minute, and of the dream called Ilva Football Club.”
Ilva Football Club speaks of a dream, a dream twice the size of the city, a dream that slowly and inexorably crumbles and collides with reality. The story of the largest steelworks in Europe intertwines with the legend of this small team born right under the chimneys of Ilva, to give voice to the many stories lived in Taranto. Stories of struggle between health and work, between hope and disillusionment, between dream and reality. Through the sports metaphor, the poetry of images, and the truth of testimonies, Ilva Football Club tells the story of a disposable city, which today is Taranto but could be another city tomorrow, showing us how much what happens concerns us much more than we imagine.

Am Donnerstag, dem 19. Februar, findet im Teatro Dino Buzzati das Theaterstück Ilva Football Club im Rahmen der Theaterreihe "Giovedì giovani" statt.
“Es war einmal ein Fußballfeld mitten im Viertel, eines dieser Randgebietsplätze, die dir ein Leben lang die Knie verletzen, mit Toren aus Plastikrohren, Netzen, die den Fischern gestohlen wurden, und entlang des Metallzauns lagen dutzende ausgedrückte Zigarettenkippen, die den Fans Gesellschaft leisteten. Dort haben alle, oder fast alle, davon geträumt, Fußballspieler zu werden. In dieser Arena für Gladiatoren spielte eine Mannschaft aus elf Männern, die ohne Ansprüche auf das Feld gingen und nicht im Geringsten ahnten, welches Schicksal sie erwartete. Dies ist die Geschichte eines unglaublichen Aufstiegs, eines unmöglichen Tores in der letzten Minute und des Traums namens Ilva Football Club.”
Ilva Football Club erzählt von einem Traum, einem Traum, der doppelt so groß ist wie die Stadt, einem Traum, der sich langsam und unerbittlich zerschlägt und mit der Realität kollidiert. Die Geschichte des größten Stahlwerks Europas verflicht sich mit der Legende dieser kleinen Mannschaft, die direkt unter den Schornsteinen der Ilva geboren wurde, um den vielen Geschichten, die in Taranto gelebt wurden, eine Stimme zu geben. Geschichten des Kampfes zwischen Gesundheit und Arbeit, zwischen Hoffnung und Enttäuschung, zwischen Traum und Realität. Durch die sportliche Metapher, die Poesie der Bilder und die Wahrheit der Zeugenaussagen erzählt Ilva Football Club die Geschichte einer opferbaren Stadt, die heute Taranto ist, aber morgen könnte sie eine andere Stadt sein, und zeigt uns, wie sehr das, was geschieht, uns betrifft, viel mehr als wir uns vorstellen.
