Venerdì 16 gennaio si terrà lo spettacolo teatrale "Il circo capovolto" della XVI Edizione della rassegna teatrale 5Vie, presso il Teatro San Gaetano di Castion.
Branko e suo nonno Nap’apò. Due generazioni di rom. Due generazioni di vite separate, vite “a parte”. Una generazione nei campi di concentramento, una nei campi rom delle grandi città.
Branko Hrabal in fuga dall’Ungheria arriva in un campo rom in Italia con dieci scatoloni, quel che rimane del circo di suo nonno, la storia della sua famiglia, la storia dell’Europa.
Branko ripercorre la gioia, l’incanto e lo stupore del circo del nonno, ma ripercorre anche la fuga, la deportazione, la reclusione e lo sterminio.
E' una favola, una parabola, un romanzo, è una confessione. E’ ironico, malinconico, comico, e cattivo.

On Friday, January 16th, the theatrical show "The Upside-Down Circus" will take place as part of the XVI Edition of the 5Vie theater festival, at the Teatro San Gaetano in Castion.
Branko and his grandfather Nap’apò. Two generations of Roma. Two generations of separate lives, lives “apart.” One generation in concentration camps, one in the Roma camps of the big cities.
Branko Hrabal, fleeing from Hungary, arrives at a Roma camp in Italy with ten boxes, what remains of his grandfather's circus, the story of his family, the story of Europe.
Branko relives the joy, the magic, and the wonder of his grandfather's circus, but he also relives escape, deportation, imprisonment, and extermination.
It is a fairy tale, a parable, a novel; it is a confession. It is ironic, melancholic, comical, and cruel.

Am Freitag, den 16. Januar, findet die Theateraufführung "Der umgekehrte Zirkus" der XVI. Ausgabe des Theaterfestivals 5Vie im Teatro San Gaetano in Castion statt.
Branko und sein Großvater Nap’apò. Zwei Generationen von Roma. Zwei Generationen von getrennten Leben, von „abgeschotteten“ Leben. Eine Generation in Konzentrationslagern, die andere in den Roma-Camps der Großstädte.
Branko Hrabal, der aus Ungarn geflohen ist, kommt mit zehn Kartons, dem, was vom Zirkus seines Großvaters übrig geblieben ist, in ein Roma-Camp in Italien - die Geschichte seiner Familie, die Geschichte Europas.
Branko erinnert sich an die Freude, den Zauber und das Staunen des Zirkus seines Großvaters, aber auch an die Flucht, die Deportation, die Inhaftierung und die Vernichtung.
Es ist ein Märchen, eine Parabel, ein Roman, es ist ein Bekenntnis. Es ist ironisch, melancholisch, komisch und boshaft.
