Sabato 24 gennaio si terrà la rappresentazione teatrale Cena con sorpresa, presso il Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Stefania e Arnaldo, sono marito e moglie coppia affiatata e benestante sposata da molti anni. I due sono i genitori di Angelica, una giovane ragazza di vent’anni. Una sera a cena invitano il loro migliore amico, Francesco De Palma, architetto. I due coniugi non sanno che Francesco, cinquantenne come loro, ha una relazione da ormai un anno con la loro figlia. In questa situazione delicata lo spettatore viene posto davanti a diversi quesiti: come farà Francesco a trovare il coraggio di raccontare ai suoi amici la verità sulla sua relazione con la loro giovane figlia? Ma soprattutto come reagiranno i due ignari genitori? Ma anche domande più profonde: come reagiscono le nostre menti benpensanti alle novità e alle realtà che stravolgono la nostra vita e i nostri modi di pensare.

On Saturday, January 24th, the theatrical performance Dinner with a Surprise will be held at the Dino Buzzati Municipal Theatre.
Stefania and Arnaldo are a close-knit and well-off married couple who have been married for many years. They are the parents of Angelica, a twenty-year-old girl. One evening at dinner, they invite their best friend, Francesco De Palma, an architect. The couple does not know that Francesco, who is in his fifties like them, has been in a relationship with their daughter for a year. In this delicate situation, the audience is faced with several questions: how will Francesco find the courage to tell his friends the truth about his relationship with their young daughter? But above all, how will the two unsuspecting parents react? And deeper questions arise: how do our well-meaning minds react to newness and realities that disrupt our lives and ways of thinking?

Stefania und Arnaldo sind ein gutes und wohlhabendes Ehepaar, das seit vielen Jahren verheiratet ist. Sie sind die Eltern von Angelica, einer zwanzigjährigen jungen Frau. Eines Abends laden sie ihren besten Freund, Francesco De Palma, einen Architekten, zum Abendessen ein. Die beiden Ehepartner wissen nicht, dass Francesco, der in den Fünfzigern ist wie sie, seit einem Jahr eine Beziehung mit ihrer Tochter hat. In dieser heiklen Situation wird der Zuschauer mit verschiedenen Fragen konfrontiert: Wie wird Francesco den Mut finden, seinen Freunden die Wahrheit über seine Beziehung zu ihrer jungen Tochter zu erzählen? Aber vor allem, wie werden die beiden ahnungslosen Eltern reagieren? Auch tiefere Fragen stellen sich: Wie reagieren unsere wohlmeinenden Köpfe auf Neuigkeiten und Realitäten, die unser Leben und unsere Denkmuster durcheinanderbringen?
