Caret a Castion (carretto in dialetto) o “Carrettata” è una corsa in discesa lungo la via principale della piazza di Castion (BL) con mezzi creati con fantasia e senza motore.
E’ una competizione di carattere goliardico, ideata per favorire il divertimento e la creatività.
I partecipanti sono invitati a presentarsi con carretti originali e abbigliamento fantasioso, sempre nel rispetto delle norme di sicurezza.
Verranno stilate tre classifiche distinte per età ed equipaggi, ma non mancheranno riconoscimenti ai carretti più strani ed ai concorrenti più simpatici.
I concorrenti sono divisi in tre categorie: Boce con equipaggi singoli riservati a ragazzi nati tra il 2013 ed il 2018, Pro uniol con equipaggi singoli riservati ai nati prima del 2013 e Pro de pì con equipaggi da 2 o più concorrenti nati prima del 2013.
La gara consta di 3 manches cronometrate.

La manifestazione, che si tiene ogni anno il 25 aprile e che nel 2026 arriverà alla sesta edizione, in pochi anni ha visto il numero degli iscritti triplicare e raccoglie adesioni ormai da tutto il Veneto e anche da fuori regione.
A fare da cornice alla gara, ci saranno il chiosco della Pro Loco Pieve Castionese con panini, trippe e patate fritte, accompagnati da bibite e musica dal vivo a partire dalle 19 con “Mely and the Moodies.”
In caso di maltempo, la gara sarà rinviata a data da destinarsi, che verrà comunicata tempestivamente dall’organizzazione.
Caret a Castion (cart in dialect) or “Carrettata” is a downhill race along the main street of the square in Castion (BL) with vehicles created with imagination and without engines.
It is a fun competition, designed to promote enjoyment and creativity.
Participants are invited to present themselves with original carts and imaginative clothing, always in compliance with safety regulations.
There will be three separate rankings based on age and teams, but there will also be recognition for the strangest carts and the most amusing competitors.
Competitors are divided into three categories: Boce with single teams reserved for boys born between 2013 and 2018, Pro uniol with single teams reserved for those born before 2013, and Pro de pì with teams of 2 or more competitors born before 2013.
The competition consists of 3 timed heats.
To register, the form available on the Pro Loco Pieve Castionese website www.castion-belluno.it must be filled out.
The event, held every year on April 25 and reaching its sixth edition in 2026, has seen the number of registrants triple in just a few years and now attracts participants from all over Veneto and even from outside the region.
As a backdrop to the race, there will be a kiosk from Pro Loco Pieve Castionese with sandwiches, tripe, and fries, accompanied by drinks and live music starting at 7 PM with “Mely and the Moodies.”
In case of bad weather, the race will be postponed to a date to be determined, which will be promptly communicated by the organization.
Caret in Castion (Wagen in Dialekt) oder “Carrettata” ist ein Abfahrtsspektakel entlang der Hauptstraße des Platzes in Castion (BL) mit kreativen und motorradfreien Gefährten.
Es handelt sich um einen geselligen Wettbewerb, der zum Spaß und zur Kreativität anregt.
Die Teilnehmer sind eingeladen, mit originellen Wagen und fantasievoller Kleidung anzutreten, immer im Einklang mit den Sicherheitsvorschriften.
Es werden drei getrennte Wertungen nach Alter und Teams erstellt, es wird aber auch Auszeichnungen für die seltsamsten Wagen und die sympathischsten Teilnehmer geben.
Die Teilnehmer werden in drei Kategorien unterteilt: Boce mit Einzelteams für Mädchen und Jungen, die zwischen 2013 und 2018 geboren sind, Pro uniol mit Einzelteams für Teilnehmer, die vor 2013 geboren wurden, und Pro de pì mit Teams von 2 oder mehr Teilnehmern, die vor 2013 geboren wurden.
Das Rennen besteht aus 3 gewerteten Läufen.
Zur Anmeldung muss das Formular ausgefüllt werden, das auf der Website der Pro Loco Pieve Castionese www.castion-belluno.it zu finden ist.
Die Veranstaltung, die jedes Jahr am 25. April stattfindet und 2026 ihre sechste Auflage feiern wird, hat in wenigen Jahren die Zahl der Anmeldungen verdreifacht und erhält mittlerweile Zusagen aus ganz Venetien und sogar aus anderen Regionen.
Den Rahmen des Rennens bildet der Kiosk der Pro Loco Pieve Castionese mit Brötchen, Kutteln und Pommes Frites, begleitet von Getränken und Live-Musik ab 19 Uhr mit “Mely and the Moodies.”
Bei schlechtem Wetter wird das Rennen auf einen noch festzulegenden Termin verschoben, der von der Organisation rechtzeitig bekannt gegeben wird.
