Visita guidata itinerante Un percorso di circa due ore che condurrà i partecipanti tra la sezione archeologica del Museo Civico, la maestosa Rocca medievale e la Torre Civica, parte integrante del Castello di Caterina Cornaro, regina di Gerusalemme, Cipro e Armenia.
Un’occasione per immergersi nella storia del borgo, tra vicende antiche e testimonianze architettoniche, e per ammirare gli spettacolari paesaggi che fanno di Asolo la celebre “Città dai cento orizzonti”.

Domenica 27 settembre, ore 16:00 La Tessoria Asolana. Trame di storia locale - Giornate Europee del Patrimonio
Visita guidata con dimostrazione di filatura presso il laboratorio di Trame Asolo.
In occasione delle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio, il Museo Civico desidera ricordare la storia della Tessoria Asolana che permise al borgo di essere riconosciuto per il suo artigianato a livello internazionale.
Dopo una prima visita guidata all’interno del Museo dove si introdurrà la storia della Tessoria e il suo legame con Flora e Freya Stark, i visitatori potranno visitare il laboratorio di Trame Asolo dove verrà realizzata una dimostrazione di filatura con telai antichi.

Guided walking tour A route of about two hours that will lead participants through the archaeological section of the Civic Museum, the majestic medieval Fortress, and the Civic Tower, integral parts of the Castle of Caterina Cornaro, Queen of Jerusalem, Cyprus, and Armenia.

Meeting with Debora Tosato (Superintendency for Archaeological Heritage, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the provinces of Padua, Treviso, and Belluno) and Gianantonio Battistella (professor at IUAV) to investigate the vital relationship between Freya Stark's explorative activity and photography: a tool for traversing unknown places, inspecting them, and bringing them to the world.
