La Città di Asolo e il Museo Civico di Asolo partecipano alle Giornate Europee del Patrimonio (GEP), la più estesa e partecipata manifestazione culturale d’Europa, promossa dal Consiglio d’Europa e dalla Commissione Europea e coordinata per l’Italia dal Ministero della Cultura, proponendo due incontri:
Sabato 26 settembre, ore 17:00 Esplorare con la fotografia: i viaggi di Freya Stark
Incontro con Debora Tosato (Soprintendenza Archeologica belle Arti e paesaggio per le province di Padova, Treviso e Belluno) e Gianantonio Battistella (docente IUAV). Il tema dell'incontro avrà come protagonista la fotografia come narrazione visiva: sulle tracce dei viaggi compiuti da Freya Stark in Kenia ed Uganda negli anni '50 per riscoprire attraverso la lente dell'obiettivo la sua visione del paesaggio. Sarà un'occasione per indagare il rapporto vitale tra l’attività di esploratrice di Freya Stark e la fotografia: uno strumento per percorrere luoghi sconosciuti, ispezionarli e portarli al mondo.
L'incontro si svolgerà in Sala della Ragione.
Domenica 27 settembre, ore 16:00 La Tessoria Asolana. Trame di storia locale
Visita guidata con dimostrazione di filatura presso il laboratorio di Trame Asolo.
Il Museo Civico desidera ricordare la storia della Tessoria Asolana che contribuì a rendere il borgo celebre a livello internazionale per il suo artigianato.
Dopo una prima visita guidata all’interno del Museo dove si introdurrà la storia della Tessoria e il suo legame con Flora e Freya Stark, i visitatori potranno visitare il laboratorio di Trame Asolo dove verrà realizzata una dimostrazione di filatura con telai antichi.
The City of Asolo and the Asolo Civic Museum are participating in the European Heritage Days (EHD), the largest and most attended cultural event in Europe, promoted by the Council of Europe and the European Commission and coordinated in Italy by the Ministry of Culture, offering two meetings:
Saturday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. Exploring with photography: the travels of Freya Stark
Meeting with Debora Tosato (Superintendency for Archaeological Heritage, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the provinces of Padua, Treviso, and Belluno) and Gianantonio Battistella (professor at IUAV). The theme of the meeting will feature photography as visual storytelling: tracing the travels undertaken by Freya Stark in Kenya and Uganda in the 1950s to rediscover her vision of the landscape through the lens of her camera. It will be an opportunity to explore the vital relationship between Freya Stark's role as an explorer and photography: a tool to traverse unknown places, inspect them, and present them to the world.
The meeting will take place in the Sala della Ragione.
Sunday, September 27, at 4:00 p.m. The Asolana Weaving. Threads of Local History
Guided visit with a spinning demonstration at the Trame Asolo workshop.
The Civic Museum wishes to remember the history of the Asolana Weaving, which contributed to making the village internationally famous for its craftsmanship.
After an initial guided visit inside the Museum where the history of the Weaving and its connection with Flora and Freya Stark will be introduced, visitors will be able to tour the Trame Asolo workshop where a spinning demonstration will be held using ancient looms.
Die Stadt Asolo und das Stadtmuseum Asolo nehmen an den Europäischen Kulturtagen (GEP) teil, der größten und am meisten besuchten Kulturveranstaltung Europas, die vom Europarat und der Europäischen Kommission gefördert und in Italien vom Ministerium für Kultur koordiniert wird, und bieten zwei Veranstaltungen an:
Samstag, 26. September, 5:00 p.m. Mit Fotografie erkunden: Die Reisen von Freya Stark
Treffen mit Debora Tosato (Soprintendenza Archeologica belle Arti e paesaggio per le province di Padova, Treviso e Belluno) und Gianantonio Battistella (Dozent IUAV). Das Thema des Treffens wird die Fotografie als visuelle Erzählung in den Mittelpunkt stellen: auf den Spuren der Reisen, die Freya Stark in Kenia und Uganda in den 50er-Jahren unternahm, um durch die Linse der Kamera ihre Sicht auf die Landschaft neu zu entdecken. Es wird eine Gelegenheit sein, die vitalen Beziehungen zwischen Freya Starks Tätigkeit als Entdeckerin und der Fotografie zu untersuchen: ein Werkzeug, um unbekannte Orte zu erkunden, sie zu inspizieren und sie der Welt zu präsentieren.
Das Treffen findet im Sala della Ragione statt.
Sonntag, 27. September, 4:00 p.m. Die Tessoria Asolana. Fäden der lokalen Geschichte
Geführte Besichtigung mit einer Spinnvorführung im Atelier von Trame Asolo.
Das Stadtmuseum möchte an die Geschichte der Tessoria Asolana erinnern, die dazu beitrug, das Dorf international für sein Handwerk bekannt zu machen.
Nach einer ersten geführten Besichtigung im Museum, in der die Geschichte der Tessoria und ihre Verbindung zu Flora und Freya Stark vorgestellt wird, können die Besucher das Atelier von Trame Asolo besichtigen, wo eine Spinnvorführung an alten Webstühlen stattfinden wird.
