Florilegia è un percorso affascinante, dove la botanica diventa chiave di lettura del nostro rapporto con la natura e con il territorio.
Partendo da preziosi volumi rinascimentali e da erbari storici, il cuore dell’esposizione consiste nell’inedita raccolta di essiccata dell’asolano Pio Bolzon (1867–1940), straordinaria testimonianza della biodiversità del nostro territorio.
Custodito nell’Archivio di Asolo, l’erbario Bolzon è qui presentato al pubblico per la prima volta.
Accanto, si apre lo sguardo sensibile delle sorelle Lopoukhine, esuli russe asolane d’adozione, che nei loro delicati acquerelli botanici fissano su carta il ritmo delle stagioni e della fioritura.
Il percorso è arricchito dallo sguardo contemporaneo delle fotografie di Fabio Zonta, dove i fiori, isolati dalla loro quotidianità, diventano presenze luminose, quasi sospese.
La mostra è corredata infine da un ricco calendario di appuntamenti che invitano alla riscoperta del linguaggio silenzioso della natura.
Pio Bolzon (1867–1940) è stato un botanico asolano, noto soprattutto per il suo contributo alla botanica sistematica come lo attestano le numerose pubblicazioni e segnalazioni floristiche riferite a diversi territori del nord Italia e del territorio elbano e savonese. Il suo lavoro si inserisce nel contesto di fine Ottocento e inizio Novecento, un periodo in cui il sistema di Linneo stava continuando ad essere ampiamente utilizzato, ma in cui stava anche emergendo una maggiore attenzione alla fitogeografia e alle relazioni evolutive tra le piante.
Florilegia is a fascinating journey, where botany becomes a key to understanding our relationship with nature and the territory.
Starting from precious Renaissance volumes and historical herbariums, the heart of the exhibition consists of the unprecedented dried collection of Pio Bolzon from Asolo (1867–1940), an extraordinary testimony to the biodiversity of our territory.
Housed in the Archive of Asolo, the Bolzon herbarium is here presented to the public for the first time.
Alongside, we find the sensitive perspective of the Lopoukhine sisters, Russian exiles adopted by Asolo, who in their delicate botanical watercolors capture on paper the rhythm of the seasons and blooming.
The route is enriched by the contemporary gaze of photographs by Fabio Zonta, where flowers, isolated from their everyday context, become luminous, almost suspended presences.
Finally, the exhibition is complemented by a rich calendar of events inviting to rediscover the silent language of nature.
Pio Bolzon (1867–1940) was a botanist from Asolo, known especially for his contribution to systematic botany as evidenced by numerous publications and floristic reports related to different areas of northern Italy and the Elba and Savona territories. His work fits into the context of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a period when the Linnaean system continued to be widely used, but when there was also an emerging greater attention to phytogeography and evolutionary relationships among plants.
Florilegia ist ein faszinierender Weg, wo Botanik zum Schlüssel unserer Beziehung zur Natur und zum Gebiet wird.
Ausgehend von wertvollen renaißancezeitlichen Bänden und historischen Herbariums besteht das Herzstück der Ausstellung aus der neuartigen getrockneten Sammlung des Asolaners Pio Bolzon (1867–1940), ein außergewöhnliches Zeugnis der Biodiversität unseres Gebiets.
Bewahrt im Archiv von Asolo wird das Herbarium Bolzon hier zum ersten Mal der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Daneben öffnet sich der sensible Blick der Schwestern Lopoukhine, russischen Exilanten, die in Asolo eine Heimat gefunden haben und in ihren zarten botanischen Aquarellen den Rhythmus der Jahreszeiten und der Blüte auf Papier festhalten.
Der Weg wird durch den zeitgenössischen Blick auf die Fotos von Fabio Zonta bereichert, wo die Blumen, von ihrem Alltag isoliert, zu leuchtenden, fast schwebenden Präsenz werden.
Die Ausstellung wird schließlich von einem reichen Kalender von Veranstaltungen begleitet, die zur Wiederentdeckung der stillen Sprache der Natur einladen.
Pio Bolzon (1867–1940) war ein Botaniker aus Asolo, bekannt vor allem für seinen Beitrag zur systematischen Botanik, wie die zahlreichen Publikationen und floristischen Meldungen belegen, die sich auf verschiedene Gebiete Norditaliens sowie das Elba- und Savonengebiet beziehen. Seine Arbeit fügt sich in den Kontext des späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts ein, eine Zeit, in der das System von Linnaeus weiterhin weit verbreitet genutzt wurde, aber auch ein größeres Augenmerk auf Phytogeographie und die evolutionären Beziehungen zwischen Pflanzen gelegt wurde.
