Il 5 maggio per gli asolani è un giorno da celebrare. E' la festa di San Gottardo: il santo a cui il cuore dei cittadini del borgo dai cento orizzonti è più devoto.
La tradizione vuole che i cittadini si ritrovino per onorare il santo con convivialità e senso di comunità. Così nei giorni precedenti, a partire dal 24 aprile, il gruppo Alpini di Asolo ritorna ad organizzare la festa di San Gottardo nel sagrato antistante la chiesetta, con momenti dedicati alle liturgie, alle scuole e ai cori. Non mancherà anche la musica e un ottimo punto ristoro per animare le serate.
La giornata del 5 maggio comincia alle ore 9.00 con l'apertura della chiesa nella quale verrà messo a disposizione dei fedeli il tradizionale olio benedetto di San Gottardo, rimedio taumaturgico ai dolori reumatici.
Alle ore 19.00 verrà celebrata la seconda Santa Messa animata dal coro della Cattedrale.
Per tutto il periodo della sagra, nel sagrato della chiesa sarà esposta una piccola mostra-mercato dei cuchi, i tradizionali fischietti in terracotta.
May 5th is a day for the residents of Asolo to celebrate. It is the feast of Saint Gotthard: the saint to whom the hearts of the citizens of the village of a hundred horizons are most devoted.
Tradition has it that the citizens gather to honor the saint with conviviality and a sense of community. In the days leading up to the event, starting from April 24th, the Alpini group of Asolo returns to organize the feast of Saint Gotthard in the courtyard in front of the small church, with moments dedicated to liturgies, schools, and choirs. There will also be music and an excellent refreshment point to liven up the evenings.
The day of May 5th begins at 9:00 AM with the opening of the church, where the traditional blessed oil of Saint Gotthard will be available to the faithful, a miraculous remedy for rheumatic pains.
At 7:00 PM, the second Holy Mass will be celebrated, animated by the Cathedral choir.
Throughout the duration of the festival, there will be a small market exhibition of cuchi, the traditional terracotta whistles, displayed in the church courtyard.
Der 5. Mai ist für die Asolaner ein Tag zum Feiern. Es ist das Fest des Heiligen Gotthard: der Heilige, dem das Herz der Bürger des Dorfes mit den hundert Horizonten am meisten verehrt.
Die Tradition sieht vor, dass die Bürger sich versammeln, um den Heiligen mit Geselligkeit und Gemeinschaftssinn zu ehren. So organisiert die Gruppe der Alpenjäger von Asolo in den Tagen davor, beginnend am 24. April, das Fest des Heiligen Gotthard im Vorraum der kleinen Kirche, mit Momenten, die den Liturgien, den Schulen und den Chören gewidmet sind. Auch Musik und ein hervorragender Erfrischungspunkt werden nicht fehlen, um die Abende zu beleben.
Der Tag des 5. Mai beginnt um 9.00 Uhr mit der Öffnung der Kirche, in der den Gläubigen das traditionelle geweihte Öl des Heiligen Gotthard zur Verfügung gestellt wird, ein wundersames Heilmittel gegen rheumatische Schmerzen.
Um 19.00 Uhr wird die zweite Heilige Messe zelebriert, die vom Chor der Kathedrale begleitet wird.
Während des gesamten Festes wird im Vorraum der Kirche eine kleine Verkaufs- und Austellungsmesse der Cuchi, der traditionellen Pfeifen aus Ton, zu sehen sein.
