Lo Splash Party si basa sull’attraversamento di una piscina scavata ai piedi della pista Civetta con sci, snowboard, mezzi autocostruiti e qualsiasi cosa capace di scivolare sull’acqua. Chi attraversa indenne la piscina e ne esce asciutto si potrà fregiare del titolo di “Re dello Splash”.
Lo Splash party si tiene ad Alleghe tradizionalmente l’ultimo giorno della stagione invernale. Gli spettatori che circondano l’arena dello “Splash” sono ogni anno più e sono pronti ad incoraggiare e applaudire gli equipaggi che si cimentano nell’attraversamento con mezzi costruiti in proprio e un centinaio di temerari che sfidano la sorte e le gelide acque con sci o snow board.
Per realizzare la piscina lunga 30 metri e larga 6 ci vogliono ben 6 giorni per un totale di 50 ore di gatto delle nevi, sommate alle 10 impiegate per la realizzazione della rampa per l’evento motoslitta free style sopra la piscina, le 5 ore per la realizzazione dell’enorme palco in neve per il concerto.
Nel corso di tutte le edizioni di Splash Party sono stati distribuiti a tutti gli spettatori più di 20.000 gadget tra t shirts, occhiali da sole, panni in microfibra, bandane, boxer ecc. e più di 500 importanti premi forniti dalle aziende partner dell’evento tra cui viaggi, sci, snowboard, piumini, felpe ecc.
The Splash Party is based on crossing a pool dug at the foot of the Civetta slope with skis, snowboards, self-built vehicles and anything capable of sliding on water.
Whoever crosses the pool unscathed and comes out dry will be awarded the title of 'Splash King'.
The Splash party is traditionally held in Alleghe on the last day of the winter season. Every year, more than 6,000 spectators surround the 'Splash' arena, and they are ready to encourage and applaud the crews who try their hand at crossing with self-built vehicles, and a hundred or so daredevils who defy fate and the icy waters with skis or snowboards.
To build the 30-metre long and 6-metre wide pool takes no less than 6 days for a total of 50 snowcat hours, added to the 10 hours needed to build the ramp for the free-style snowmobile event above the pool, the 5 hours to build the huge snow stage for the concert, those for positioning the human slingshot, and those to find a company crazy enough to make it.
Over the course of all Splash Party editions, more than 20,000 gadgets including t-shirts, sunglasses, microfiber cloths, bandanas, boxer shorts, etc. were distributed to all spectators, as well as more than 500 important prizes provided by the event's partner companies including trips, skis, snowboards, down jackets, sweatshirts, etc.
Die Splash Party basiert auf der Überquerung eines mit Wasser gefüllten Beckens am Fuß der Civetta-Piste mit Skiern, Snowboards, selbstgebauten Fahrzeugen und allem, was auf dem Wasser gleiten kann. Wer das Becken unbeschadet überquert und trocken herauskommt, darf sich “König des Splash” nennen.
Die Splash Party findet traditionell am letzten Tag der Wintersaison in Alleghe statt. Die Zuschauer, die die Arena des “Splash” umgeben, werden jedes Jahr zahlreicher und sind bereit, die Teams, die mit selbstgebauten Fahrzeugen antreten, sowie etwa hundert Waghalsige, die ihr Glück mit Skiern oder Snowboards herausfordern, anzufeuern und zu applaudieren.
Um das 30 Meter lange und 6 Meter breite Becken zu schaffen, benötigt man insgesamt 6 Tage, was 50 Stunden mit dem Schneemobil entspricht, zuzüglich der 10 Stunden für den Bau der Rampe für das Freestyle-Motorschlitten-Event über dem Becken und 5 Stunden für den Bau der riesigen Schneebühne für das Konzert.
Im Laufe aller Ausgaben der Splash Party wurden über 20.000 Gadgets wie T-Shirts, Sonnenbrillen, Mikrofasertücher, Bandanas, Boxershorts usw. an alle Zuschauer verteilt, sowie über 500 wichtige Preise, die von den Partnerunternehmen der Veranstaltung zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, darunter Reisen, Skier, Snowboards, Daunenjacken, Sweatshirts usw.
