Agordo ospita il Congresso internazionale di paleontologia del Triassico
Una settimana di scienza, divulgazione e valorizzazione nella cornice delle Dolomiti Agordo.
Dal 25 al 30 maggio 2026, il congresso internazionale “The Triassic Paleontology in the 21st Century: news after the first quarter”, appuntamento dedicato alle più importanti ricerche e scoperte degli ultimi 25 anni nello studio della paleontologia del Triassico (periodo geologico che va da ca. 251 a 201 milioni di anni fa). L’iniziativa riunirà ricercatori da tutto il mondo e da tutti i campi della paleontologia: dagli invertebrati e vertebrati terrestri e marini alla paleobotanica e paleopalinologia, dalla paleoecologia alla micropaleontologia.
L’evento vedrà conferenze, poster e interventi in lingua inglese, confermando il profilo altamente scientifico e internazionale.
Agordo hosts the International Triassic Paleontology Congress
A week of science, outreach, and enhancement in the setting of the Dolomites Agordo.
From May 25 to May 30, 2026, the international congress “The Triassic Paleontology in the 21st Century: news after the first quarter” will take place, dedicated to the most significant research and discoveries of the last 25 years in the study of Triassic paleontology (the geological period that spans from about 251 to 201 million years ago). The initiative will bring together researchers from around the world and from all fields of paleontology: from terrestrial and marine invertebrates and vertebrates to paleobotany and paleopalynology, from paleoecology to micropaleontology.
The event will feature conferences, posters, and presentations in English, confirming its highly scientific and international profile.
Agordo beherbergt den Internationalen Kongress für Trias-Paläontologie
Eine Woche Wissenschaft, Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Wertschätzung in der Kulisse der Dolomiten Agordo.
Vom 25. bis 30. Mai 2026 findet der internationale Kongress „Die Trias-Paläontologie im 21. Jahrhundert: Nachrichten nach dem ersten Viertel“ statt, eine Veranstaltung, die den wichtigsten Forschungen und Entdeckungen der letzten 25 Jahre im Studium der Trias-Paläontologie gewidmet ist (geologische Periode von ca. 251 bis 201 Millionen Jahren). Die Initiative wird Forscher aus der ganzen Welt und aus allen Bereichen der Paläontologie zusammenbringen: von Invertebraten und terrestrischen sowie marinen Wirbeltieren bis hin zur Paläobotanik und Paläopalynologie, von der Paläoökologie bis zur Mikropaläontologie.
Die Veranstaltung wird Konferenzen, Poster und Beiträge in englischer Sprache umfassen und damit das hochwissenschaftliche und internationale Profil bestätigen.
