L’Associazione Culturale IN-Oltre, in collaborazione con la Biblioteca Comunale di Villafranca di Verona, vi invita all’incontro “L’eredità di Primo Levi”, una serata di riflessione dedicata al valore della memoria, della testimonianza e della responsabilità civile.
Attraverso il contributo di Fabio Magro dell’Università degli Studi di Padova, approfondiremo il percorso umano e intellettuale di Primo Levi: dalla necessità di raccontare l’orrore del Lager alla costruzione di strumenti di comprensione per leggere anche il nostro presente.
Perché l’eredità di Levi non appartiene soltanto al passato. Ci riguarda ancora oggi, ogni volta che emergono odio, discriminazione, disumanizzazione e indifferenza.

The Cultural Association IN-Oltre, in collaboration with the Municipal Library of Villafranca di Verona, invites you to the meeting “The Legacy of Primo Levi”, an evening of reflection dedicated to the value of memory, testimony, and civil responsibility.
Through the contribution of Fabio Magro from the University of Padua, we will deepen the human and intellectual journey of Primo Levi: from the necessity of narrating the horror of the concentration camps to the construction of tools for understanding to also read our present.
Because Levi's legacy does not belong only to the past. It concerns us today, every time hate, discrimination, dehumanization, and indifference emerge.

Der Kulturverein IN-Oltre, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeindebibliothek von Villafranca di Verona, lädt Sie zur Veranstaltung “Das Erbe von Primo Levi” ein, einem Abend der Reflexion, der dem Wert der Erinnerung, des Zeugnisses und der Zivilverantwortung gewidmet ist.
Durch den Beitrag von Fabio Magro von der Universität Padua werden wir den menschlichen und intellektuellen Weg von Primo Levi vertiefen: von der Notwendigkeit, das Grauen des Lagers zu erzählen, bis hin zur Schaffung von Verständniswerkzeugen, um auch unsere Gegenwart zu lesen.
Denn das Erbe von Levi gehört nicht nur der Vergangenheit an. Es betrifft uns auch heute, jedes Mal, wenn Hass, Diskriminierung, Dehumanisierung und Gleichgültigkeit auftauchen.
