Andrea, figlio di Ennio, anch’egli compositore e direttore d’orchestra, si è dedicato con assiduità ed amore alla musica. Ha infatti composto diverse e importanti colonne sonore, ma fra tutti i suoi lavori cinematografici spicca la composizione del Tema d’amore del film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso", premiato col Bafta Awards e interpretato da grandi artisti internazionali, quali René Fleming, Andrea Bocelli e Itzhak Perlman. Ha vinto anche due Golden Globe Awards con le sue colonne sonore.
In questo concerto, che avverrà nella suggestiva scenografia del Castello Scaligero di Villafranca, il pubblico potrà ascoltare le musiche così come sono state composte da Ennio.
