Nel Parco del Museo del Risorgimento prende vita Walking Bass, una performance itinerante immersa nel paesaggio naturale di Villa Guiccioli, un vero e proprio Eden appena fuori dal centro cittadino.
Protagonisti saranno i quattro giovani musicisti selezionati per la residenza artistica, che dal 16 al 20 giugno lavoreranno negli spazi del parco e dell’Auditorium del Museo del Risorgimento sotto la guida del duo Beast of Eden, formato da Marco Centasso e Alberto Collodel.
La performance nasce come esito di questo percorso di ricerca e creazione: un attraversamento sonoro in cui il parco diventa parte della partitura e i musicisti si dispongono in diversi punti del parco, trasformandosi in presenze nascoste, quasi piccole creature sonore che abitano il paesaggio. Suoni, gesti, improvvisazioni e materiali scritti dialogano con il vento, con le foglie, con gli spazi vuoti e con il movimento del pubblico.
Guidato dal contrabbasso itinerante di Marco Centasso, il pubblico sarà accompagnato in un percorso di ascolto nel bosco, fermandosi in alcune postazioni dove incontrerà i musicisti-residenti: figure sonore che emergono dal paesaggio e con esso interagiscono. Il cammino culminerà in una breve azione finale collettiva, in cui le diverse presenze musicali confluiranno in un momento condiviso. Il rapporto tra uomo e ambiente, centrale nella ricerca artistica del duo Beast of Eden, trova qui una forma viva e immediata: una musica che non si limita a essere eseguita nella natura, ma nasce dentro la natura e con la natura.

In the Park of the Museum of the Risorgimento, Walking Bass comes to life, a traveling performance immersed in the natural landscape of Villa Guiccioli, a true Eden just outside the city center.
The protagonists will be the four young musicians selected for the artistic residency, who will work in the park and the Auditorium of the Museum of the Risorgimento from June 16 to June 20 under the guidance of the duo Beast of Eden, consisting of Marco Centasso and Alberto Collodel.
The performance arises as the outcome of this research and creation path: a sound crossing in which the park becomes part of the score and the musicians are positioned in different areas of the park, transforming into hidden presences, almost like small sound creatures inhabiting the landscape. Sounds, gestures, improvisations, and written materials interact with the wind, the leaves, the empty spaces, and the movement of the audience.
Guided by Marco Centasso's traveling double bass, the audience will be taken on a listening journey through the woods, stopping at certain stations where they will meet the resident musicians: sound figures that emerge from the landscape and interact with it. The journey will culminate in a brief final collective action, where the different musical presences will converge into a shared moment. The relationship between man and environment, central to the artistic research of the duo Beast of Eden, finds here a living and immediate form: music that is not merely performed in nature but is born within nature and with nature.

Im Park des Museums für die italienische Wiedergeburt entfaltet sich Walking Bass, eine wandernde Performance, die in die natürliche Landschaft der Villa Guiccioli eintaucht, ein wahres Eden nur wenig außerhalb des Stadtzentrums.
Die Protagonisten sind die vier jungen Musiker, die für die künstlerische Residenz ausgewählt wurden und vom 16. bis 20. Juni in den Räumen des Parks und des Auditoriums des Museums für die italienische Wiedergeburt unter der Leitung des Duos Beast of Eden, bestehend aus Marco Centasso und Alberto Collodel, arbeiten werden.
Die Performance entsteht als Ergebnis dieses Prozesses der Forschung und Kreation: ein klanglicher Durchgang, in dem der Park Teil der Partitur wird und die Musiker sich an verschiedenen Punkten des Parks positionieren, sich in versteckte Präsenzen verwandeln, fast kleine Klangwesen, die die Landschaft bevölkern. Klänge, Gesten, Improvisationen und geschriebene Materialien dialogieren mit dem Wind, den Blättern, den leeren Räumen und der Bewegung des Publikums.
Geleitet von dem wandernden Kontrabass von Marco Centasso wird das Publikum auf einen Hörweg im Wald mitgenommen und an bestimmten Stationen stehenbleiben, wo es die residierenden Musiker treffen wird: klangliche Figuren, die aus der Landschaft auftauchen und mit ihr interagieren. Der Weg kulminiert in einer kurzen kollektiven Abschlussaktion, in der die verschiedenen musikalischen Präsenzen in einem geteilten Moment zusammenkommen. Die Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Umwelt, die im künstlerischen Streben des Duos Beast of Eden zentral ist, findet hier eine lebendige und unmittelbare Form: Musik, die sich nicht damit zufrieden gibt, in der Natur aufgeführt zu werden, sondern innerhalb der Natur und mit der Natur entsteht.
