Seconda edizione per il “Trascrizioni Festival. La musica classica – da un’altra prospettiva”, rassegna di concerti e incontri internazionali dedicata al mondo della musica classica e delle sue trasformazioni. Fondata nel 2024 dal chitarrista vicentino Giacomo Copiello, che ne è il direttore artistico, la manifestazione prosegue quest’anno in sinergia con l’Accademia Olimpica e Bucce Studio, con il patrocinio del Comune di Vicenza. A sostenere l’iniziativa sono Fondazione Banca di Marostica Volksbank, Salin srl e Mair Research, oltre a Spazio CUCA per il supporto tecnico.
Ricco il programma, tra ricerca, performance e partecipazione, che si articolerà in tre fine settimana consecutivi, tutti di scena nell’Odeo del Teatro Olimpico, dal 22 novembre al 7 dicembre, con l’obiettivo di esplorare la trascrizione come pratica musicale e come metafora culturale di dialogo. Tutti gli eventi saranno a ingresso libero.
Chiusura con danze rinascimentali e PassiSparsi
Doppio appuntamento anche per l’ultimo weekend del cartellone. Sabato 6 dicembre, dalle 17, workshop di danza popolare rinascimentale a cura di Daniele Roi. Domenica 7, alle 17.30 guida all’ascolto e alle 18 Cantar per scherzo, concerto dell’ensemble vocale PassiSparsi interamente dedicato a Orlando di Lasso, come rivisitazione del suo repertorio canzonettistico italiano, anche alla luce di recenti studi dell’etnomusicologo Gianfranco Salvatore.
La trascrizione come metafora di uno sguardo altro
Il termine trascrizione rimanda alla pratica di adattare una composizione musicale per uno strumento o un organico diverso da quello originario. Una tradizione, questa, che attraversa secoli di musica e che, nella prospettiva di Trascrizioni Festival, fa del gesto artistico di “reinterpretare” un modo per valorizzare le differenze e avvicinarsi all’altro.
L’iniziativa si lega così ai temi dell’educazione alla pace, dell’inclusione e della formazione musicale come esperienza comunitaria, coinvolgendo artisti, ricercatori, associazioni umanitarie e studenti.

Second edition for the “Trascrizioni Festival. Classical music – from a different perspective,” a series of concerts and international meetings dedicated to the world of classical music and its transformations. Founded in 2024 by the Vicenza guitarist Giacomo Copiello, who is the artistic director, the event continues this year in synergy with the Accademia Olimpica and Bucce Studio, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Vicenza. Supporting the initiative are the Fondazione Banca di Marostica Volksbank, Salin srl, and Mair Research, along with Spazio CUCA for technical support.
The program is rich, featuring research, performances, and participation, and will take place over three consecutive weekends, all staged in the Odeo of the Teatro Olimpico, from November 22 to December 7, with the aim of exploring transcription as a musical practice and as a cultural metaphor for dialogue. All events will be free of charge.
Closure with Renaissance dances and PassiSparsi
A double appointment is also scheduled for the last weekend of the calendar. Saturday, December 6, starting at 5 PM, a workshop on Renaissance popular dance led by Daniele Roi. On Sunday 7, at 5:30 PM, a listening guide and at 6 PM Cantar per scherzo, a concert by the vocal ensemble PassiSparsi entirely dedicated to Orlando di Lasso, reinterpreting his Italian canzonetta repertoire, also in light of recent studies by ethnomusicologist Gianfranco Salvatore.
Transcription as a metaphor for another perspective
The term transcription refers to the practice of adapting a musical composition for an instrument or ensemble different from the original one. This is a tradition that spans centuries of music and, from the perspective of the Trascrizioni Festival, makes the artistic act of “reinterpreting” a way to enhance differences and approach the other.
The initiative is thus linked to themes of peace education, inclusion, and musical training as a communal experience, involving artists, researchers, humanitarian associations, and students.

Zweite Auflage des “Transkriptionen Festivals. Klassische Musik – aus einer anderen Perspektive”, einer Reihe von Konzerten und internationalen Begegnungen, die der Welt der klassischen Musik und deren Transformationen gewidmet ist. Gegründet im Jahr 2024 vom Vicentiner Gitarristen Giacomo Copiello, der als Künstlerischer Leiter fungiert, geht die Veranstaltung in diesem Jahr in Synergie mit der Accademia Olimpica und Bucce Studio weiter, mit der Patenschaft der Stadt Vicenza. Unterstützt wird die Initiative von der Fondazione Banca di Marostica Volksbank, Salin srl und Mair Research, sowie von Spazio CUCA für die technische Unterstützung.
Ein reichhaltiges Programm, das Forschung, Performance und Mitwirkung umfasst, wird sich über drei aufeinanderfolgende Wochenenden erstrecken, alle im Odeon des Teatro Olimpico, vom 22. November bis 7. Dezember, mit dem Ziel, die Transkription als musikalische Praxis und als kulturelle Metapher für Dialog zu erkunden. Alle Veranstaltungen sind kostenlos.
Abschluss mit Renaissance-Tänzen und PassiSparsi
Doppelte Termine auch für das letzte Wochenende des Programms. Am Samstag, dem 6. Dezember, ab 17 Uhr, Workshop für Renaissance-Volkstanz unter der Leitung von Daniele Roi. Am Sonntag, dem 7., um 17:30 Uhr Einführung zum Zuhören und um 18 Uhr Cantar per scherzo, Konzert des Vokalensemble PassiSparsi, das vollständig Orlando di Lasso gewidmet ist, als Neuinterpretation seines italienischen Canzonettenrepertoires, auch im Lichte der jüngsten Studien des Ethnomusikologen Gianfranco Salvatore.
Die Transkription als Metapher eines anderen Blicks
Der Begriff Transkription bezieht sich auf die Praxis, eine musikalische Komposition für ein anderes Instrument oder ein anderes Ensemble als das ursprüngliche anzupassen. Eine Tradition, die Jahrhunderte der Musik durchläuft und die im Rahmen des Transkriptionen Festivals den künstlerischen Akt des “reinterpretierens” als einen Weg versteht, Unterschiede zu werten und sich dem Anderen zu nähern.
Die Initiative verbindet sich somit mit den Themen Bildung für den Frieden, Inklusion und musikalische Ausbildung als gemeinschaftliches Erlebnis, wobei Künstler, Forscher, humanitäre Organisationen und Studierende einbezogen werden.
