In questo programma vengono esplorate sonorità, epoche ed aree geografiche contrastanti: dal romanticismo più denso della sonata del norvegese Grieg, al più puro e malinconico tango argentino di Piazzolla, passando anche per un dolcissimo brano contemporaneo e per le funamboliche variazioni paganiniane. Si tratta dunque di un vero e proprio viaggio geografico e temporale, volto ad esaltare le caratteristiche liriche ma anche virtuosistiche di violoncello e pianoforte.

This program explores contrasting sounds, eras, and geographical areas: from the densest Romanticism of the Norwegian Grieg's sonata, to the purest and most melancholic Argentinian tango by Piazzolla, also including a very sweet contemporary piece and the acrobatic Paganini variations. It is therefore a true geographical and temporal journey, aimed at enhancing the lyrical as well as virtuosic characteristics of the cello and piano.
