Nuova serie di visite guidate all'interno degli affascinanti spazi della Biblioteca Capitolare
L'iniziativa prosegue il progetto di valorizzazione e fruizione di quella che, ad oggi, ha il primato e l'orgoglio di essere la biblioteca funzionante più antica del mondo.
Con un tesoro di oltre 1200 manoscritti, 245 incunaboli, 2500 cinquecentine, 2800 seicentine e altri 70 mila volumi e illustri frequentatori nel suo passato, la Capitolare è sopravvissuta al terremoto, alla peste, alle ruberie di Napoleone, all’alluvione del 1882 e alle bombe.
La visita prende avvio dal chiostro canonicale, e successivamente si sposta nella Biblioteca, con il suo maestoso salone monumentale e i nuovi spazi espositivi.
Nel percorso sono visibili alcuni manoscritti e testi a stampa originali.

New series of guided tours inside the fascinating spaces of the Capitular Library
The initiative continues the project of enhancement and enjoyment of what is, to date, the oldest functioning library in the world, with pride.
With a treasure of over 1200 manuscripts, 245 incunabula, 2500 works from the 16th century, 2800 from the 17th century and another 70 thousand volumes, along with illustrious visitors in its past, the Capitolare has survived earthquakes, plague, Napoleon's looting, the flood of 1882, and bombings.
The visit begins in the canonical cloister, and then moves into the Library, with its majestic monumental hall and new exhibition spaces.
During the tour, some original manuscripts and printed texts are visible.
Today at 14:00, the guided tour will be conducted in English.
Neue Reihe von Führungen durch die faszinierenden Räume der Bibliothek Capitolare
Die Initiative setzt das Projekt zur Aufwertung und Nutzung dessen fort, was bis heute die älteste funktionierende Bibliothek der Welt ist und stolz darauf ist.
Mit einem Schatz von über 1200 Manuskripten, 245 Inkunabeln, 2500 Druckwerken des 16. Jahrhunderts, 2800 Druckwerken des 17. Jahrhunderts und weiteren 70.000 Bänden sowie illustren Besuchern in ihrer Vergangenheit hat die Capitolare Erdbeben, Pest, Napoleons Plünderungen, die Überschwemmung von 1882 und Bombenangriffe überstanden.
Die Führung beginnt im Klosterhof und verlegt sich anschließend in die Bibliothek, mit ihrem majestätischen monumentalen Saal und den neuen Ausstellungsräumen.
Auf dem Weg sind einige Manuskripte und originale Drucktexte sichtbar.
Heute um 14:00 Uhr findet die Führung auf Englisch statt.
