Grande evento di turismo culturale per gli appassionati del cinema di montagna, che ha lo scopo di promuovere gli ambienti delle cosiddette "Terre Alte del Mondo" e per scoprirli attraverso l'esplorazione, l'arrampicata e l'alpinismo.
Il Festival giunto alla 10° edizione, riunisce, in un unico format, proiezioni di film ed eventi collaterali legati alla cultura di montagna: presentazioni, premiazioni, performance artistiche e musicali, proiezioni di fotografie.
A livello internazionale viene promosso un bando di concorso cinematografico aperto a registi e case di produzione di tutto il mondo che abbiano eletto a soggetto principale delle proprie opere la montagna, in particolare l’alpinismo, l’esplorazione e l’arrampicata. Viene promosso anche un concorso fotografico dedicato al tema della montagna, rivolto sia a fotografi professionisti che agli amatori.
L’evento è organizzato da alcune sezioni veronesi del Club Alpino Italiano in collaborazione con l’Associazione Montagna Italia.
L'Associazione Montagna Italia nasce nel 1996 con lo scopo di promuovere il territorio montano e le sue espressioni, nell’intento di sostenere il turismo, la cultura e l'ambiente, in Italia e all’estero, organizzando fiere, convegni, studi, spettacoli, eventi e rassegne.

Large cultural tourism event for mountain cinema enthusiasts, aimed at promoting the environments of the so-called "High Lands of the World" and discovering them through exploration, climbing, and mountaineering.
The Festival, now in its 10th edition, brings together, in a single format, film screenings and related events linked to mountain culture: presentations, awards, artistic and musical performances, photography screenings.
An international call for a film competition is promoted, open to directors and production companies from all over the world who have made the mountain, particularly mountaineering, exploration, and climbing, the main subject of their works. A photography competition dedicated to the theme of the mountain is also promoted, aimed at both professional photographers and amateurs.
The event is organized by some Verona sections of the Italian Alpine Club in collaboration with the Mountain Italy Association.
The Mountain Italy Association was founded in 1996 with the aim of promoting mountain territory and its expressions, with the intent of supporting tourism, culture, and the environment, in Italy and abroad, organizing fairs, conferences, studies, shows, events, and exhibitions.

Großveranstaltung des Kulturtourismus für Bergfilm-Liebhaber, die darauf abzielt, die Umgebungen der sogenannten "Hohen Länder der Welt" zu fördern und sie durch Erkundung, Klettern und Bergsteigen zu entdecken.
Das Festival, das seine 10. Ausgabe feiert, vereint in einem einzigen Format Filmvorführungen und begleitende Veranstaltungen rund um die Bergkultur: Präsentationen, Preisverleihungen, künstlerische und musikalische Aufführungen sowie Fotovorführungen.
Auf internationaler Ebene wird ein Wettbewerb für Filmemacher ausgeschrieben, der Regisseuren und Produktionsunternehmen aus der ganzen Welt offensteht, die die Berge, insbesondere das Bergsteigen, die Erkundung und das Klettern, zum Hauptthema ihrer Werke gewählt haben. Auch ein Fotowettbewerb zum Thema Berg wird sowohl für professionelle Fotografen als auch für Amateure ausgeschrieben.
Die Veranstaltung wird von einigen Veroneser Sektionen des Club Alpino Italiano in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Verein Montagna Italia organisiert.
Der Verein Montagna Italia wurde 1996 gegründet, um das Berggebiet und dessen Ausdrucksformen zu fördern, mit dem Ziel, den Tourismus, die Kultur und die Umwelt in Italien und im Ausland zu unterstützen, indem Messen, Konferenzen, Studien, Aufführungen, Veranstaltungen und Ausstellungen organisiert werden.
Der Eintritt ist frei.
