Il più autorevole ambasciatore del tango argentino sarà sul palco del Teatro Romano con serata evento per festeggiare i primi 40 anni di carriera artistica.
Lo spettacolo scritto, coreografato e diretto da Miguel Àngel Zotto, è la storia di Astor Piazzolla, considerato universalmente il padre del tango moderno.
Insieme alla vita di Astor, Zotto porterà in scena la storia di un genere musicale e di un ballo che è l’essenza stessa dell’Argentina.
Miguel Àngel Zotto e Daiana Guspero sono due dei più grandi ballerini di tango della scena contemporanea internazionale e, sullo sfondo di immagini d’epoca, danzeranno insieme ad altre quattro coppie di tangheri.
Il tutto accompagnato dall’orchestra che ci condurrà attraverso il miglior repertorio del compositore argentino, che seppe distillare un suono moderno e originale, dove la tradizione si combina con l’avanguardia colta.
I tangheri di altissimo livello ed i cantanti eccezionali accompagneranno lo spettatore in uno spettacolo avvincente, intrigante e sensuale.
The most authoritative ambassador of Argentine tango will be on stage at the Roman Theater for a special evening celebrating the first 40 years of his artistic career.
The show written, choreographed, and directed by Miguel Àngel Zotto is the story of Astor Piazzolla, universally regarded as the father of modern tango.
Together with Astor's life, Zotto will bring to the stage the story of a musical genre and a dance that is the very essence of Argentina.
Miguel Àngel Zotto and Daiana Guspero are two of the greatest tango dancers in the contemporary international scene, and against a backdrop of vintage images, they will dance alongside four other couples of tango dancers.
The entire performance will be accompanied by an orchestra that will guide us through the best repertoire of the Argentine composer, who was able to distill a modern and original sound, where tradition combines with cultured avant-garde.
The top-level tango dancers and exceptional singers will take the audience on a thrilling, intriguing, and sensual journey.
