Per festeggiare questo periodo dell’anno, non può mancare la storia d’amore che ha reso Verona famosa nel mondo: Romeo and Juliet, in scena in una rivisitazione contemporanea dell’amore eterno dove la passione travolgente si scontra con le tensioni e le contraddizioni della società moderna.
Ambientato “nella bella Verona che di sangue fraterno mani fraterne copre”, lo spettacolo percorre i momenti iconici della tragedia: dalla festa in Casa Capuleti al primo bacio, dal Balcone al bando di Romeo fino all’epilogo tragico e restituisce una storia senza tempo, raccontata con un linguaggio diretto ed emotivo, vicino alle nuove generazioni.
L’opera di William Shakespeare prende nuova vita nell’adattamento bilingue in cui l’anima di Giulietta diventa guida silenziosa e profonda del racconto, accompagnando lo spettatore attraverso gli eventi.
Pensato per un pubblico internazionale e per giovani spettatori abituati a un inglese contemporaneo, lo spettacolo utilizza l’alternanza delle lingue come parte integrante dell’esperienza: un teatro che parla al presente, senza barriere.

L’iniziativa è inserita nell’ambito dell’Olimpiade Culturale di Milano Cortina 2026, il programma che promuove i valori olimpici attraverso cultura, patrimonio e sport, in vista dei Giochi Olimpici e Paralimpici Invernali 2026.
To celebrate this time of year, the love story that made Verona famous worldwide cannot be missed: Romeo and Juliet, in a contemporary reinterpretation of eternal love where overwhelming passion clashes with the tensions and contradictions of modern society.
Set “in beautiful Verona, which covers with fraternal blood fraternal hands,” the show traverses the iconic moments of the tragedy: from the feast at the Capulet house to the first kiss, from the Balcony to Romeo's banishment, leading to the tragic epilogue, and presents a timeless story, told with a direct and emotional language, close to new generations.
William Shakespeare's work takes on new life in a bilingual adaptation where Juliet's soul becomes the silent and profound guide of the narrative, accompanying the audience through the events.
Designed for an international audience and for young viewers accustomed to contemporary English, the show uses the alternation of languages as an integral part of the experience: a theater that speaks to the present, without barriers.

The initiative is part of the Cultural Olympics of Milan Cortina 2026, the program that promotes Olympic values through culture, heritage, and sport, in anticipation of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Um diese Jahreszeit zu feiern, darf nicht fehlen die Liebesgeschichte, die Verona weltweit berühmt gemacht hat: Romeo und Julia, auf der Bühne in einer zeitgenössischen Neuinterpretation der ewigen Liebe, wo die überwältigende Leidenschaft mit den Spannungen und Widersprüchen der modernen Gesellschaft kollidiert.
In "dem schönen Verona, das mit brüderlichem Blut von brüderlichen Händen bedeckt ist", durchläuft die Aufführung die ikonischen Momente der Tragödie: vom Fest im Hause Capulet bis zum ersten Kuss, vom Balkon bis zum Verbot für Romeo bis zum tragischen Epilog und gibt eine zeitlose Geschichte wieder, die mit einer direkten und emotionalen Sprache erzählt wird, die den neuen Generationen nahe steht.
Das Werk von William Shakespeare erlangt neues Leben in der zweisprachigen Adaption , in der die Seele von Juliet zur stillen und tiefen Führung der Erzählung wird, die den Zuschauer durch die Ereignisse begleitet.
