Un programma ancora più ricco e diffuso per la terza edizione della rassegna da camera di Fondazione Arena, Musei in Musica. Forti delle due edizioni sold-out precedenti, nel 2026 torna con 10 nuovi appuntamenti domenicali dove la musica e l'arte si incontrano.
Protagonista di questi imperdibili appuntamenti, tutti alle 11.00, la musica da camera, dal ‘500 al ‘900, eseguita dai professori d’Orchestra di Fondazione Arena che interpretano opere dal Rinascimento al Romanticismo, dal Classicismo fino ad oggi.
Quattro gli appuntamenti a Palazzo Maffei, uno nella Sala Maffeiana del Teatro Filarmonico e uno presso il Museo degli affreschi G. B. Cavalcaselle presso la tomba di Giulietta.
Quattro novità assoluta tra le location: la Biblioteca Capitolare, il Circolo Unificato dell’Esercito, l'Accademia di Agricoltura Scienze e Lettere e il Museo Nicolis.
Abbinate ai concerti le visite ad alcune collezioni museali.

Domenica 25 gennaio
Quartetto n. 4 in Do maggiore di Mozart, l’Abendlied di Schumann (nella trascrizione di Busoni) e il Quintetto di Reger.
Domenica 19 aprile
Trascritti per quartetto di fiati, sinfonie da Guglielmo Tell, La Cenerentola, Semiramide, La Gazza ladra e un’inedita fantasia su temi rossiniani di Vincenzo Gambaro stesso, che ne firma le trascrizioni.
Domenica 26 aprile
Sonate barocche di J. S. Bach e il Concert Royaux di Couperin, con la sonata scritta per lo stesso organico nel 1952 da Elliott Carter.
Domenica 10 maggio
Protagonista sarà Vienna, capitale musicale tra classicismo e romanticismo, con i primi trii per archi di Haydn, Beethoven e Schubert.

Brahms con i Liebeslieder valzer, gioielli musicali eseguiti dal Coro di Fondazione Arena diretto da Roberto Gabbiani, impegnato anche al pianoforte.

Serenata op. 44 di Dvořák, capolavoro del genere, accanto a due rarità come la Piccola sinfonia per fiati di Gounod e la Serenata “in vano” di Nielsen.

A program even richer and more widespread for the third edition of the chamber music review of the Fondazione Arena, Museums in Music. Building on the two previous sold-out editions, it returns in 2026 with 10 new Sunday appointments where music and art meet.
The protagonist of these unmissable appointments, all at 11:00, is chamber music, from the 16th to the 20th century, performed by the professors of the Fondazione Arena Orchestra, interpreting works from the Renaissance to Romanticism, from Classicism to the present day.
There are four appointments at Palazzo Maffei, one in the Sala Maffeiana of the Teatro Filarmonico and one at the Museo degli affreschi G. B. Cavalcaselle near the tomb of Juliet.
Four brand new locations: the Biblioteca Capitolare, the Circolo Unificato dell’Esercito, the Accademia di Agricoltura Scienze e Lettere and the Museo Nicolis.
Visits to some museum collections are paired with the concerts.
The musical program is rich and varied.

Quartet No. 4 in C Major by Mozart, Abendlied by Schumann (in the transcription by Busoni) and the Quintet by Reger.
Sunday, April 19
Transcribed for wind quartet, symphonies from William Tell, Cinderella, Semiramide, The Thieving Magpie and an unpublished fantasy on Rossini themes by Vincenzo Gambaro himself, who signs the transcriptions.
Sunday, April 26
Baroque sonatas by J. S. Bach and the Concert Royaux by Couperin, along with the sonata written for the same ensemble in 1952 by Elliott Carter.
Sunday, May 10
The protagonist will be Vienna, the musical capital between Classicism and Romanticism, featuring the first string trios by Haydn, Beethoven, and Schubert.

Ein noch reicheres und breiteres Programm zur dritten Auflage der Kammermusikreihe der Fondazione Arena, Musei in Musica. Gestärkt durch die beiden ausverkauften vorherigen Auflagen, kehrt es 2026 mit 10 neuen Sonntagsveranstaltungen zurück, wo Musik und Kunst aufeinandertreffen.
Hauptdarsteller dieser unentbehrlichen Termine, alle um 11.00 Uhr, ist die Kammermusik, vom 16. bis zum 20. Jahrhundert, gespielt von den Orchestermusikern der Fondazione Arena, die Werke vom Renaissance bis zum Romanticismus, vom Klassizismus bis heute interpretieren.
Vier Veranstaltungen finden im Palazzo Maffei statt, eine im Sala Maffeiana des Teatro Filarmonico und eine im Museo degli affreschi G. B. Cavalcaselle bei der Grabstätte von Giulietta.
Vier absolute Neuheiten unter den Locations: die Biblioteca Capitolare, der Circolo Unificato dell’Esercito, die Accademia di Agricoltura Scienze e Lettere und das Museo Nicolis.
Zu den Konzerten werden Führungen durch einige Museumscollections angeboten.

Barocksonaten von J. S. Bach und die Concert Royaux von Couperin, mit der 1952 für dasselbe Ensemble geschriebenen Sonate von Elliott Carter.

Im Mittelpunkt steht Wien, die Musikhauptstadt zwischen Klassizismus und Romantik, mit den ersten Streichtrios von Haydn, Beethoven und Schubert.
