I Mumford & Sons sono un gruppo di Londra formatosi alla fine del 2007 e composto da Marcus Mumford (voce, chitarra e batteria) Winston Marshall (voce, chitarra resofonica e banjo) Ben Lovett (voce, organo e tastiera) e Ted Dwane (voce e contrabbasso).
Pubblicano nel 2009 il loro primo album SIGH NO MORE, al quale seguono BABEL, WILDER MIND, DELTA e RUSHMERE.
Rushmere è il luogo dove tutto ha avuto inizio per la band folk-rock britannica.
Questo stagno, immerso nel verde di Wimbledon Common, nel sud-ovest di Londra, è stato il punto d’incontro dei tre musicisti, il luogo in cui hanno immaginato per la prima volta di formare una band.

The Mumford & Sons are a group from London formed at the end of 2007 and made up of Marcus Mumford (vocals, guitar, and drums) Winston Marshall (vocals, resonator guitar, and banjo) Ben Lovett (vocals, organ, and keyboard) and Ted Dwane (vocals and double bass).
They released their first album SIGH NO MORE in 2009, followed by BABEL, WILDER MIND, DELTA and RUSHMERE.
Rushmere is the place where it all began for the British folk-rock band.
This pond, immersed in the greenery of Wimbledon Common in south-west London, was the meeting point for the three musicians, the place where they first imagined forming a band.
For them, Rushmere was as familiar as the instruments they played, and it is the heart of their story.
