Torna a Verona, dal 7 al 10 maggio, uno degli appuntamenti più attesi della primavera: Le Piazze dei Sapori,
giunto alla sua 24ª edizione.
Le Piazze dei Sapori è l’evento che porta nei centri storici delle città i prodotti tipici e le produzioni eno-gastronomiche più ricercate d’Italia. Le piazze più famose si colorano con centinaia di espositori e rivenditori accuratamente selezionati, che rappresentano il sapore di tutte le regioni italiane. Prodotti Dop, Docg, Doc, ma anche particolarità sconosciute al grande pubblico che risvegliano, in questo modo, gusti dimenticati.
Il tema centrale del 2026 sarà il forte legame tra enogastronomia e cultura, con un focus particolare sulla cucina italiana riconosciuta Patrimonio Immateriale UNESCO. Il cibo visto non solo come esperienza di gusto, ma anche come racconto di identità, tradizioni e territori.
L’edizione 2026 darà ampio spazio alle attività culturali con presentazioni di libri e guide dedicate al mondo food e al turismo enogastronomico, incontri e approfondimenti legati alla cultura culinaria italiana ed esposizioni e iniziative artistiche legate alla pittura e all’interpretazione del cibo.
Il pubblico potrà vivere un’esperienza completa grazie a showcooking con chef e operatori del settore, degustazioni guidate, percorsi sensoriali tra prodotti e territori e nuove installazioni esperienziali nelle piazze, unendo intrattenimento, formazione e scoperta, e trasformando ogni spazio in un punto di incontro tra produttori e visitatori.
L'evento è patrocinato da MASAF, Enit - Agenzia Nazionale del Turismo, Regione Del Veneto, Provincia di Verona e Comune di Verona.
Returning to Verona from May 7 to 10 is one of the most awaited events of spring: The Squares of Flavors,
now in its 24th edition.
The Squares of Flavors is the event that brings typical products and the most sought-after food and wine productions of Italy to the historic centers of cities. The most famous squares are filled with hundreds of carefully selected exhibitors and vendors, representing the flavors of all Italian regions. DOP, DOCG, DOC products, but also unknown specialties that awaken, in this way, forgotten tastes.
The central theme of 2026 will be the strong link between food and wine and culture, with a particular focus on Italian cuisine recognized as UNESCO Intangible Heritage. Food seen not only as a taste experience but also as a narrative of identity, traditions, and territories.
The 2026 edition will give ample space to cultural activities with presentations of books and guides dedicated to the food world and food and wine tourism, meetings and insights related to Italian culinary culture, and exhibitions and artistic initiatives linked to painting and the interpretation of food.
The public will be able to experience a complete experience through showcooking with chefs and industry operators, guided tastings, sensory paths among products and territories, and new experiential installations in the squares, combining entertainment, education, and discovery, transforming every space into a meeting point between producers and visitors.

Die Plätze der Geschmäcker ist die Veranstaltung, die die typischen Produkte und die feinsten Wein- und Gastronomieproduktionen Italiens in die historischen Stadtzentren bringt. Die bekanntesten Plätze erstrahlen in bunten Farben mit Hunderten von sorgfältig ausgewählten Ausstellern und Händlern, die den Geschmack aller italienischen Regionen repräsentieren. DOP-, DOCG-, DOC-Produkte, aber auch Besonderheiten, die der breiten Öffentlichkeit unbekannt sind, wecken auf diese Weise vergessene Geschmäcker.
Das zentrale Thema 2026 wird die enge Verbindung zwischen Gastronomie und Kultur sein, mit einem besonderen Fokus auf die italienische Küche, die als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe anerkannt ist. Essen wird gesehen nicht nur als Geschmackserlebnis, sondern auch als Erzählung von Identität, Traditionen und Regionen.
Die Edition 2026 wird großzügig Platz für kulturelle Aktivitäten bieten mit Buch- und Reiseführerpräsentationen, die der Welt der Gastronomie und des kulinarischen Tourismus gewidmet sind, Treffen und Vertiefungen über die italienische Kochkultur sowie Ausstellungen und künstlerische Initiativen, die mit Malerei und der Interpretation von Lebensmitteln verbunden sind.
Das Publikum kann ein komplettes Erlebnis genießen durch Showcooking mit Köchen und Fachleuten der Branche, geführte Verkostungen, sensorische Pfade zwischen Produkten und Regionen sowie neue Erlebnisinstallationen auf den Plätzen, die Unterhaltung, Bildung und Entdeckung verbinden und jeden Raum in einen Treffpunkt zwischen Produzenten und Besuchern verwandeln.
