L'iconica mezza maratona veronese, la gara più romantica dell’anno, festeggia quest'anno la sua 19a edizione e vi dà appuntamento nel fine-settimana di San Valentino, domenica 15 febbraio.
La partenza è in Piazzale Olimpia, nello spazio antistante lo stadio Bentegodi, dove è previsto anche l’arrivo.
Il regolamentare percorso di 21 Km tocca i punti più emblematici della città scaligera, con un percorso che attraversa luoghi ricchi di storia, immerso nell'aria romantica che avvolge Verona proprio nel weekend dedicato agli innamorati.
Chi non desidera correre tutti i 21 km, può.. dividere il percorso per due!
E’ prevista infatti la Relay Marathon, una staffetta non competitiva che consente di dividere il percorso a metà con un'altra persona, all'interno del percorso della mezza maratona.
Le famiglie che vogliono godersi una passeggiata in città correndo o camminando possono scegliere invece la Family Run, un percorso di circa 7km, non competitivo, per tutta la famiglia, con partenza alle 8.15.
Correre a Verona equivale a un'immersione completa nella storia di questa città d’arte, e la Giulietta&Romeo Half Marathon diventa una tra le corse più affascinanti del mondo.
La gara è attestata dalla Federazione Italiana Atletica Leggera come una tra le gare d’eccellenza in Italia sia da un punto di vista organizzativo che come numero di partecipanti ed è inserita nei calendari internazionali, oltre ad essere qualificata da tanti anni come evento Gold Label Fidal.
