Giovanni Vernia, attore, conduttore televisivo e radiofonico, comico tra i più conosciuti in Italia, parte da Verona il 5 maggio con la sua nuova tournée “VERNIA O NON VERNIA – SBRILLUCCICOSO EDITION”, di e con Giovanni Vernia, per la regia di Giampiero Solari e Paola Galassi.
Vernia si racconta in modo autoironico senza trascurare come sempre un forte contatto con la realtà dei nostri giorni.
Lo show trae ispirazione da un dilemma shakesperiano, rivisitato in chiave comica, che conduce il pubblico a una domanda lecita: è meglio Vernia o tutti i Non Vernia che ha dentro di sé e che prendono il sopravvento quando meno ce lo aspettiamo?
In questo spettacolo l’artista racconta da dove nasce la sua follia comica. È un demone interiore il suo, che comincia ad apparire da bambino, stimolato dalla Genova in cui è cresciuto e degli stravaganti parenti pugliesi e siciliani. È una sorte di spiritello dispettoso, che si manifesta in modo sempre più invadente durante la sua carriera da ingegnere. Questo spettacolo è un esercizio di leggerezza intelligente, dove la storia personale dell’artista si sovrappone a un divertentissimo ma acuto viaggio attraverso i luoghi comuni di questi strani tempi moderni.
Una serata all'insegna del divertimento per provare a non farsi sopraffare dai problemi quotidiani e ritrovare un po' di sana leggerezza.

The show is inspired by a Shakespearean dilemma, revisited in a comedic way, leading the audience to a legitimate question: is it better to be Vernia or all the Non Vernia that he has inside him, which take over when he least expects it?
In this show, the artist explains where his comic madness originates. It is an inner demon of his, which begins to appear from childhood, stimulated by the Genoa where he grew up and his extravagant relatives from Puglia and Sicily. It is a kind of mischievous spirit, increasingly invasive during his career as an engineer. This show is an exercise in intelligent lightness, where the artist's personal story overlaps with a very funny yet sharp journey through the clichés of these strange modern times.

Vernia erzählt auf selbstironische Weise, ohne dabei wie immer den starken Kontakt zur Realität unserer Tage zu vernachlässigen.
Die Show ist inspiriert von einem Shakespeare-Dilemma, komisch neu interpretiert, das das Publikum zu einer berechtigten Frage führt: Ist Vernia besser oder sind alle Nicht-Vernia, die in ihm stecken und die Überhand gewinnen, wenn wir es am wenigsten erwarten?
In dieser Show erzählt der Künstler, woher sein komischer Wahnsinn stammt. Es ist ein innerer Dämon, der als Kind zu erscheinen beginnt, angeregt durch das Genua, in dem er aufgewachsen ist, und die extravaganten Verwandten aus Apulien und Sizilien.
