Il 31 dicembre arriva a Verona il Royal National Ballet of Georgia che si esibisce nello show "Fire of Georgia".
Uno spettacolo unico dove l’armonia dei movimenti si fonde con acrobazie al limite dell’umano, pronto a regalare al pubblico un’esperienza mozzafiato sospesa tra grazia ed energia.
La Colchide, terra di Giasone, oggi conosciuta come Georgia, rivive attraverso le straordinarie performance dell’ensemble diretta da Gela Potskhishvili e Maia Kiknadze. Il talento atletico, la tecnica virtuosa e le prodezze maschili “sulle punte”, con stivali sottili e senza imbottitura, si intrecciano con i passi leggeri e la bellezza eterea delle ragazze che, in raffinati abiti di seta, sembrano fluttuare lievi sul ghiaccio.
Alcune danze hanno ispirazione nell'VIII secolo a.C. e, nonostante l'origine così remota, mantengono un dinamismo ed una modernità tale da ispirare le più note pop-star dei nostri giorni. Particolarmente intensa e drammatica la danza «Khorumi», dove protagoniste della coreografia sono le spade che si incrociano in un turbinio di scintille. Così i georgiani esprimono oggi la loro sete di libertà.
Il Royal National Ballet of Georgia, dopo aver calcato i palcoscenici più prestigiosi d'Europa, Russia, Cina e Stati Uniti, giunge in Italia nell'ambito del suo tour europeo.

The Colchis, the land of Jason, now known as Georgia, comes to life through the extraordinary performances of the ensemble directed by Gela Potskhishvili and Maia Kiknadze. Athletic talent, virtuosic technique, and male feats "on point," with thin, unpadded boots, intertwine with the light steps and ethereal beauty of the girls who, in refined silk dresses, seem to float gently on the ice.
Some dances are inspired by the 8th century BC and, despite their ancient origins, maintain a dynamism and modernity that inspire today’s most famous pop stars. Particularly intense and dramatic is the dance "Khorumi," where swords are the protagonists of the choreography, crossing in a whirlwind of sparks. This is how Georgians today express their thirst for freedom.

Einige Tänze haben ihre Inspiration im 8. Jahrhundert v. Chr. und trotz ihres so fernen Ursprungs behalten sie eine Dynamik und Moderne, die die bekanntesten Pop-Stars unserer Tage inspiriert. Besonders intensiv und dramatisch ist der Tanz „Khorumi“, bei dem die Schwerter im Wirbel von Funken kreuzen und die Protagonisten der Choreografie sind. So drücken die Georgier heute ihr Verlangen nach Freiheit aus.
Das Royal National Ballet of Georgia, nachdem es die renommiertesten Bühnen Europas, Russlands, Chinas und der Vereinigten Staaten betreten hat, erreicht im Rahmen seiner Europa-Tournee Italien.
