Il Teatro Romano accende i riflettori sulla 78° edizione dell’Estate Teatrale Veronese, che conferma e suggella il connubio indissolubile tra musica, teatro e danza.
Il cartellone si articola in sezioni tematiche che accompagnano lo spettatore lungo un vero e proprio percorso esperienziale: il Festival Shakespeariano; le Grand Soirée; il Classico; la Danza Internazionale; Nuove Orbite/Giovani; le Contaminazioni Musicali; e infine le Costellazioni, che mettono in dialogo arti, spazi e comunità.
L’Estate Teatrale Veronese 2026 prosegue il percorso tematico sugli stati della materia avviato nel 2025, dedicato all’acqua, assumendo la Terra come nuovo fulcro concettuale.
Il titolo (H)Earth of Glass ne restituisce la complessità: la terra come materia viva e fragile, paesaggio culturale e radice identitaria, ma anche figura simbolica — Gea, madre originaria e archetipo di fertilità, cura e rigenerazione.
Il tema della Terra ha permesso di definire un sistema di corrispondenze capace di dare coerenza e orientamento alla programmazione delle diverse sezioni del festival, che si articola tra spettacoli di alta qualità, protagonisti della scena teatrale nazionale e internazionale e scelte fortemente innovative.
Il Teatro Romano si conferma cuore pulsante del festival, dal quale si irradiano performance che trasformano Verona in uno spazio condiviso e attraversabile, un paesaggio culturale in continuo movimento.
The Roman Theatre shines the spotlight on the 78th edition of the Veronese Theatre Summer, which confirms and seals the indissoluble union between music, theatre, and dance.
The program is divided into thematic sections that guide the audience through a true experiential journey: the Shakespearean Festival; the Grand Soirées; the Classical; the International Dance; New Orbits/Youth; the Musical Contaminations; and finally, the Constellations, which bring together arts, spaces, and communities.
The Veronese Theatre Summer 2026 continues the thematic path on the states of matter initiated in 2025, dedicated to water, adopting Earth as the new conceptual fulcrum.
The title (H)Earth of Glass encapsulates its complexity: the earth as a living and fragile matter, a cultural landscape and an identity root, but also a symbolic figure — Gaia, the primordial mother and archetype of fertility, care, and regeneration.
