L’Estate Teatrale Veronese torna a riempire il Teatro Romano con la grande musica italiana ed internazionale.
Nell’ambito della rassegna “contaminazioni musicali”, salirà sul palco una delle voci simbolo del fado, la musica popolare portoghese, e della musica mondiale: la pianista, compositrice e interprete Dulce Pontes.
Il suo successo Canção do Mar, pubblicato in tutto il mondo nel 1993, l’ha consacrata come rinnovatrice del fado, guadagnandosi il riconoscimento di miglior erede della grande Amália Rodrigues.
Le sue incredibili capacità artistiche, la sua formazione classica e la sua attenzione culturale l’hanno portata ad esibirsi in tutto il mondo e collaborare con i più grandi artisti di fama mondiale.
Speciale il suo incontro con Ennio Morricone, con il quale ha forgiato un'intensa amicizia e un rapporto professionale che ha portato nel 2003 alla nascita dell’album Focus, oltre a tour mondiali sui palchi più prestigiosi.
Accompagnata da un quintetto d’eccezione, Dulce Pontes proporrà alcuni dei brani più iconici del suo repertorio (O Primeiro Canto, Morricone...) e altri tratti dal suo ultimo album Perfil.
