Nella sezione DANZA, l'Estate Teatrale Veronese propone un cartellone che prova a portare sul corpo storie e personaggi senza tempo.
Le prime serate dedicate alla danza sono il 27 e 28 luglio con Blackbird, un progetto multidisciplinare di Chiara Frigo liberamente ispirato a The Dark Lady di William Shakespeare.
Fiore all’occhiello del palinsesto è un'anteprima nazionale: Sogno di una notte di mezza estate, in scena l'1 e 2 agosto con il nuovo progetto coreografico di COB Compagnia Opus Ballet.
Opus Ballet celebra il testo più magico e imprevedibile scritto da William Shakespeare mettendo in scena uno spettacolo che fonde musica classica, drammaturgia e danza contemporanea.
I danzatori saranno chiamati ad impersonare, a turno, ora un ruolo ora un altro, scivolando tra concretezza e suggestione e dando vita ad un gioco imprevedibile e vivace.
Da non perdere il grande ritorno dei Momix a Verona con un omaggio alla città che sempre li ha saputi accogliere e acclamare!
La celebre compagnia di danzatori acrobati torna con un nuovo medley dei loro pezzi più iconici che sapranno incantare grandi e piccini.
La danza dei Momix si potrà ammirare al Teatro Romano dal 5 al 17 agosto (con esclusione dell'11 agosto).
In the DANCE section, the Estate Teatrale Veronese offers a program that tries to bring timeless stories and characters to the body.
The first evenings dedicated to dance are July 27th and 28th with Blackbird, a multidisciplinary project by Chiara Frigo freely inspired by The Dark Lady by William Shakespeare.
The jewel in the crown of the schedule is a national preview: Sogno di una notte di mezza estate (A Midsummer Night's Dream), on stage on August 1st and 2nd with the new choreographic project by COB Compagnia Opus Ballet.
Opus Ballet celebrates the most magical and unpredictable text written by William Shakespeare by staging a show that blends classical music, dramaturgy and contemporary dance.
The dancers will be asked to take turns impersonating one role, now another, slipping between concreteness and suggestion and giving life to an unpredictable and lively game.
Then the Momix return to Verona with a tribute to the city that has always known how to welcome and acclaim them!
The famous company of acrobatic dancers returns with a new medley of their most iconic pieces that will enchant adults and children alike.
Momix's dance can be admired at the Roman Theater from 5th to 17th August (with the exception of 11th August)
